"So let me get this straight. You spoke with the moon goddess and she told you that me and Taijah have to go back to our home to resolve the matter at hand, and your dad's death was not an accident." I briefed with Caine.

"Yes and yes." Caine said while nodding his head aggressively.

"Okay so when do we need to do this?" I asked him.

"Now would be the perfect time. You don't have to return to work until Wednesday and it's Friday. You and T can take my private jet so you could arrive there faster." Caine told me.

"Will you and Mace be tagging along?"

"No. This is something only you and T can do. While you're gone I'll look into my dad's death to try and figure out the truth."

"Okay, well I'll go get more information from my grandma on where exactly home is and then we'll be ready to pack clothes and head to your jet. Does that sound fine?"

"Yes that sounds perfect!" He told me excitedly.

I talked to my grandma and she informed me of where the village is that we came from. She let me know that she doesn't know if my parents are alive, but if they aren't that either my aunt or uncle took over and to show them the Crystal to enter the tribe.

We finished packing our clothes and made our way to Caine's private jet.

"Are you ready to take off?" Caine asked me.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I told him.

"Your trip is the beginning of forming the alliance so be on your best behavior." He told me before giving me a kiss and shutting the jet door.

I looked over at T and realized she was crying.

"It's okay, we'll be back before you know it." I told her.

"That's not why I'm crying. We could possibly meet our parents if they're still alive." She told me. I nodded and gave her a big smile.

I don't know why but I didn't really think about that. I hope they're alive because I would love to meet them and see who Taijah and I get our looks from. I put on my headphones and tried getting some sleep before we made it to our village.

"We're here ladies." The pilot which was one of Caines gamma's informed us.

We gathered our bags and made our way to the taxi to be taken on the outskirts of our family village.

Upon our arrival there were men in purple and gold drapes standing at the entrance of the village. I prepared the Crystal that our grandma gave us. Then grabbed my bags. We made it to the entrance and the men on the ground arranged their spears in a X form and the men on the top of the gate pointed their spears at us. I pulled out the Crystal that my grandma gave me and they gasped and let their spears down. They open the wood gates and a man with a white and purple drape covered in gold approached us. He held his hand up towards us to stop us and I showed off the Crystal once again.

He stood there for a minute and let out a loud cry. Everyone that was around us let out a loud cry and started stomping their feet. I looked over to Taijah nervously and she glanced at me before staring back at the man in front of us. He walked towards us and embraced us in a hug once he was close enough.

"My girls is it really you?" He asked while pulling away to look at our faces. I felt myself began to cry as his hug felt familiar.

"It has to be you, Damilola you look just like your mother, and Taja you look just like your mother's sister. I've missed you girls so much!" He told us while hugging us again. I cried harder after he embraced us once more. I can't believe our dad is alive and well, and we got the chance to meet him.

"Is our mom still alive?" I asked him after we broke away from our hug.

He began to look sad and shook his head.

"No. She's not alive. She passed last season. She would've been so happy to see you girls." I smiled and gave him another hug.

"Come on I want you to meet the rest of your family." He told us.

After going around and meeting everyone in the tribe I was exhausted. Every since we landed I've been having this ringing sound in my ear. I asked Taijah if she felt the same thing and she told me yes, I'm assuming it's from the jet ride that we took. I wanted to let our dad know why we're here so I asked him if we could speak with him after catching up with family.

"Baba, as grandma explained-"

"Your grandmother is still alive?" He asked shocked. I smiled and nodded my head.

"She is still alive and thriving. She rarely leaves the house though haha." He laughed and motioned for me to continue.

"Grandma informed us that we have spiritual powers, but I've never felt anything powerful inside of me, if that makes sense."

"Ah yes of course. Since you girls were born here, you had to return back to gain your powers. We'd have to perform a ceremony to help your powers come to light." He stated.

"What kind of powers do we have?" Taijah asked him.

"We won't know for sure until the ceremony. What I do know is Damilola, your powers surpass any spiritual being there is. When your mother was pregnant with you, she received a visit from the spirits, telling her about your powers. She never told me what they were but she did let me know that you would be the most powerful spiritual being there is." He told me with pride in his eyes. I smiled while listening to his words.

"How soon could we start the ceremony?" Taijah asked.

"We can start it tomorrow night. We'll prepare the land for the ritual. I can feel your arua and it seems the spirits are already trying to speak with you." He told us before getting up.

"How do we know when they're trying to speak with us?" I asked him.

"The first sign is ringing in the ears. When your ears rings the spirits are letting you know that they are present and that they are trying to communicate with you." He told us. I looked at him in shock because our ears are in fact ringing and they haven't stopped since we landed.

"I will teach you how to communicate with the spirits tomorrow before your ceremony. Follow me I'll show you girls to your shelter." We stood up and followed behind our dad to our room. I feel excited as we're one step closer to forming the alliance.
