Brooklyn Williams sat in her Orlando apartment, her heart heavy and her mind full of confusion. She had just found out that Kanye West had decided to release a song in which she implied that her fame was due to him, and that she owed him thanks for her success. It wasn't the first time she had problems with the controversial rapper.

The first public confrontation between Brooklyn and Kanye was in 2009, when he came on stage during the MTV Video Music Awards and interrupted Brooklyn's acceptance speech, arguing that Beyoncé deserved the award. It was a humiliating and heartbreaking moment for Brooklyn, but she tried to maintain her composure and move on.

She thought the incident would just be a setback in her career, an unpleasant anecdote that would eventually be in the past. However, she was now facing a new provocation from Kanye, and this time it was even more painful. Not only was she trying to claim credit for her success, but she was also trying to publicly discredit her.

Brooklyn felt helpless and frustrated. She knew she couldn't let Kanye's comments get to her, but it was hard not to feel hurt by the words of someone she once considered a colleague. She wondered what else she would have to endure before this was all over.

Alex arrived at her shared apartment an hour later than usual after training with her club, Orlando Pride. Opening the door, she found an unexpected sight: Brooklyn was lying in bed, with Blue, curled up next to her.

"Hello, baby."Alex greeted with a tired but genuine smile upon seeing Brooklyn and Blue together.

Brooklyn looked up at Alex's voice and smiled back, although there was a hint of concern in her eyes. "Hey, Al." Brooklyn responded, slowly sitting on the bed and caressing Blue tenderly. "How was the training?"

Alex walked over to the bed and plopped down next to Brooklyn, putting an arm around her shoulders.

"Exhausting as always." she sighed, "But seeing your face makes it all worth it."

Brooklyn placed a soft kiss on her lips and then rested her head on her shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Alex asked, noticing Brooklyn's worried expression. "It seems like something is bothering you."

Brooklyn sighed and nodded. "Well yeah, Kanye just released a new song..." she began to explain, feeling a lump in her throat. " And, well, it's not exactly flattering to me."

Alex frowned, annoyed at hearing Kanye's name. "What did he say this time?" she asked, feeling how anger began to bubble up inside her.

Brooklyn told her about the song and Kanye's hurtful words, and how she was feeling frustrated and discouraged by the whole situation.

"I'm sorry baby." Alex said, squeezing Brooklyn's hand tenderly. "I don't understand why he keeps picking on you like this. But I want you to know that I'm here for you, okay? I will always be here to support you and lift you up when you feel down."

Brooklyn felt comforted by Alex's words and gave her a tight hug.
"Thanks, Al." she whispered. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me."

They stood together in silence for a moment, finding comfort in each other's presence and in the calm affection of Blue, who was used to being the peacemaker in times like these. Finally, Brooklyn broke the silence with a smile.

"I think we need a little time just the three of us." she said, looking at Alex and Blue with determination. "How about a night of movies and takeout?"

Alex smiled and placed a kiss on her forehead. "Sounds perfect." she responded. "There is nothing I prefer more than spending time with you and Blue."

A couple of weeks after the incident with Kanye, Alex decided to meet up with Kelley. She knew she needed to vent and that Kelley, as her best friend and teammate, would be the perfect person to talk to.

They agreed to meet at a cozy cafe near her apartment. As soon as they sat down with their cups of steaming coffee in front of them, Alex couldn't contain her worries any longer and decided to open up to Kelley.

"Kelley, I need to talk to you about something that's really bothering me." Alex began, looking at her friend seriously.

Kelley looked back at her, ready to listen. Alex only called her by her name when she was angry or she had something important to tell her. "Sure, Alex, tell me what's going on." she responded with concern.

Alex took a deep breath before continuing. "It's about Brooklyn and... Kanye." Alex said, sighing.
"I can't stop worrying about her, Kel. It's affecting her more than she wants to admit."

"I understand, Alex. It's been difficult to see how this has affected Brooklyn. But she is strong, and I know she will get through this. And you are there for her, that's the most important thing." Kelley nodded, understanding.

"I know, but... I feel like it's not enough. I feel like I should do more, but I don't know what." the blue-eyed girl nodded, grateful for the support of her best friend.

Kelley put a loving hand on her shoulder. "Just by being there for her you are already doing a lot, Alex. But if you feel like you need to do more, I'm sure you'll find a way to do it. You are incredibly strong and dedicated, and Brooklyn is lucky to have you by her side."

Kelley's words comforted Alex, giving her a renewed sense of determination. "Thank you, Kelley. It means a lot to me to know that I can count on you."

"Always, Jan. I will always be here for you and Brooklyn."

With Kelley's support, Alex felt more determined than ever to be there for Brooklyn during this difficult time. She knew that together they could overcome any obstacle that came their way, as long as they were there for each other.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn was at home with Selena and Abigail, her two best friends. They sat together in the cozy living room of her apartment, surrounded by scented candles and soft music in the background.

Brooklyn told Selena and Abigail about the situation with Kanye and how she felt about it.

"I don't want to drag Alex into my shit, you know?" Brooklyn said, her voice full of concern. "She already has enough on her plate with football and everything else. I don't want to be a burden on her. She doesn't deserve this, Sel, Abby. She doesn't deserve to be in the middle of this situation."

Selena and Abigail exchanged a sympathetic look before answering.
"Brooklyn, Alex loves you. She's with you because she wants to be with you, not because she feels obligated in any way." Selena said firmly. "She is strong, and she is willing to face any challenge with you. Don't underestimate how she feels about you."

"Alex is a grown woman, and she can make her own decisions. If she is with you it is because she wants to be. Don't underestimate her ability to decide for herself." Abigail nodded in agreement.

Brooklyn sighed, feeling a little better upon hearing her friends' words. "Thank you, girls. I really appreciate her support."

"We will always be here for you, Brooklyn. Always." Selena said, placing a hand on Brooklyn's lovingly.

"Exactly. You are our family, and we will always support you, no matter what happens." Abigail added, smiling sweetly. Together, they embraced each other, finding comfort and strength. They knew that, no matter what, they would always be there for each other.
