April 22, 2017The sun was slowly rising over Manchester. Brooklyn was in the suite at the Gotham Hotel, an elegant and discreet establishment. In the bed, Walker was sleeping soundly. Brooklyn watched him tenderly, remembering the promise she had made to take him to breakfast before the big match. Today was the semi-final of the Women's Champions League, and Alex was at the centre of sporting attention.
Brooklyn had planned everything meticulously to attend the match without attracting media attention. Although public life had taught her to be cautious, this time the motivation was different: she wanted to surprise Alex, to give her support at a crucial moment without the pressure of the paparazzi.
A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. She approached cautiously, and upon opening it, she found William. "Everything is ready, Ms. Williams. We can go out whenever you want." William said in a firm but kind tone.
Brooklyn nodded, grateful for his loyalty and professionalism. "Thank you, William. I'll wake Walker up and we'll be leaving in a few minutes."
Walker, still sleepy, slowly stood up as Brooklyn helped him get dressed. "Are you ready for today's big adventure?" she asked, with a smile that tried to hide her own nerves.
"Yeah, I can't wait to see Alex play!" Walker replied enthusiastically, now fully awake.
Breakfast was at a small café near the stadium. Brooklyn and Walker sat in a secluded corner, enjoying a quiet meal while chatting about the game. Walker, eyes shining with excitement, couldn't stop talking about his latest big news.
"Brooke, guess what! I got the lead role in the school play." Walker said, beaming with pride.
Brooklyn smiled, genuinely excited for her brother. "That's amazing, Walker! I knew you'd make it. What play is it?"
"It's 'The Wizard of Oz,' and I'm going to be the Scarecrow." Walker explained, waving his hands excitedly. "I'll have a lot of lines and a fun dance. I can't wait to show you around."
"I'm so proud of you, Walker." Brooklyn said, feeling a deep connection with her brother at that moment. "Let's celebrate your great achievement after the game, okay?"
"Yes!" Walker replied, visibly excited about everything the day had in store.
As game time approached, Brooklyn couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and anxiety. She knew how important this game was for Alex and for her career. Although she fully trusted Alex's abilities, the desire for everything to go well was overwhelming.
William reappeared at the cafe, informing them that the car was ready. "It's time to go to the stadium." he said, with a serious expression.
The trip to the stadium was an operation worthy of a spy mission. As they made their way to the car, Walker, with his childlike enthusiasm, exclaimed. "When I'm a famous actor, I'll have my own private car, too."
Brooklyn laughed softly, stroking her brother's hair. "I'm sure you will, Walkie. And maybe even better than this one."
William had coordinated with the stadium staff to make sure Brooklyn and Walker entered undetected. They arrived just as the crowd had entered, making it easy for them to discreetly access the VIP area. Once inside, they were led to a private area, from where they could watch the game undisturbed.
The stadium was full of energy, with thousands of fans cheering on their teams. Brooklyn was overwhelmed by the magnitude of the event, but also found comfort in the thought of being there, supporting Alex.
