After everyone returned to the past timeline, they implied history would remain intact.
While their lives went well, Usagi, Makoto, and Minako joined Wu Shi Academy to train while Rei continued training to be a priestess and Ami continued her education at school.
Strangely enough, Kung Lao and Minako got along very well until they began their relationship after a few weeks. They went on a date as usual, of course. Usagi, Artemis, and Liu Kang were happy for them.
Makoto and Jax trained together in the training ground. She even became friends with him and Sonya. It felt like she was training to be a soldier of the Special Forces while being close friends with Jax and Sonya.
Rei and Ami always visit Minako, Makoto, and Usagi at the Wu Shi Academy whenever they feel like it.
Lastly, they decorated the party, the celebration of the defeat of the past Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat.
Past will always remain peaceful.
