After Sae-Byeok returned to the past, she joined the Wu Shi Academy needing their help to train her. Raiden, of course, agreed to help Sae-Byeok to be a full warrior. At first, he was happy to see his future daughter after he last saw her returning to the future with the others.
Eventually, a victory celebration was taking place at the Shaolin temple.
"Bow to me." The jubilation abruptly stopped, however, when Shao Kahn's giant figure suddenly appeared in the skies.
"What is it?" Liu Kang asked, shocked.
"It's Shao Kahn," Raiden warned.
"What!?" Usagi said in shock.
"Weak pathetic fools. I've come here for your souls." Shao Kahn said.
"I don't think so," Raiden said as his eyes flashed with lightning. Then the warriors including Sae-Byeok took up fighting stances.
