YOUR POV

It was so bright it was almost blinding. Those streams of light. That familiar, cold sand making contact with your skin. The air felt still, quiet.

You felt a sense of belonging deep within yourself, as if you were somehow connected to your surtoundings. And without much thought, you knew exactly where you were. You knew exactly who you were looking for.

The Coordinate.

'Ymir? Where are you?', you yelled out.

You slowly picked yourself up from the ground and looked toward the light ahead of you. Your steps were slow and precise as you felt the sand beneath your feet.

Why had she brought you here again? What was she trying to show you this time?

Questions continued to ponder inside your head as the wind played with your hair. You continued your steady pace toward the light and the unknown.

And that's when you saw her.

She was walking toward you - her steel eyes pierced straight through yours with precision and an eerie coldness. You knew right then she would tell you everything you needed to know, just like he had back when you were here.

Once Ymir was standing right in front of you, only a few nches away from your body, she extended her hand to you. Your parted your lips in curiosity.

You held her hand. And she held yours back. Tight.

You felt your eyes close almost unconsciously. Time felt so still in that moment. You couldn't quiet tell how much time had gone by. If had been hours or seconds.

You suddenly opened your eyes. And it took you some seconds to realize you were no longer in the same place.

The mattress under your body held you with comfort. A strange sense of nostalgia began to arise as you began to take in your surroundings.

Your body and mind felt utterly exhausted as you brushed the back of your hands against your heavy eyelids. You could smell a similar scent. Your mom's stew? Could it be?

Were you home?

Within seconds, heavy excitement took over you as you stood from your bed and run to open your bedroom door. Right behind it, you would see your childhood's home kitchen.

Would you be able to ser your mother again, after all these years? You quickly and excitedly turned the knob and pushed your body out of your room, only to feel confusion grow within head as you felt your eyes blink repeatedly.

A young man was sitting by your kitchen's table.

He was the only other person in the room. On top of the stove, your mom's old stew began to burn away. The smell almost made you sick to your stomach.

The strange man then looked into your eyes with a cold, still expression. You felt scared and confused as you furrowed your brows, your lips slightly parted as you continued to look at him, inspecting him.

As he stood up from where he sat, you then took in his features. He had large, green eyes. His long, brunette hair kept in a bun. He was handsome, yet he looked... lifeless. He didn't look human. All you could see behind his eyes was nothingness.

'Who... who are you? Where's my mother?', you asked as you looked into his eyes. He remained silent as he approached you slowly.

'You know who I am', he whispered.

He then extended his hand to you, just like Ymir had. You continued to look into his eyes, feeling less scared by the second. He continued.

'You know exactly where you are. And what you have to do', his voice remained stern as he held eye contact with you.
