"My lord." Hyunjin bowed before leaving the room and going to his own.
"I can't believe it."
Minho turned to her and raised his eyebrows. "That you used to be kind before you became all demon king lord thingy." She stated and Minho blinked.
"I don't know what you're on about. Now be quiet if you don't want to lose your life!" He threatened.
Yuqi raised her arms in surrender. "Always so stingy threatening to kill me." She sighed before she walked away.
"You know you can always try to be a little kind to people who are kind to you first." And with that said she left the room and just sat outside.
Minho was so stuck in his head that he completely forgot she's a prisoner and supposed to be tied up.
Jisung sat idly on the floor in Hyunjin's room, just looking around. Hyunjin entered not long after him and looked at him weirdly before letting out a soft chuckle.
"For an immortal you act more like someone from the spirit tribe then as someone from the immortal clan." Hyunjin said as he walked over to his couch. He moved the sleeves of his arm and swept his hair back before sitting down.
"Are you comfortable on the floor?" He asked eyeing him. Jisung looked up and smiled. "Very, and you are right about the fact I'm not like most immortals I've been raised more freely and taught to be equal to everyone else. This is your room, I'm the guest." He stated matter of factly.
"Interesting." Hyunjin muttered. "Now listen Jisung right?" Said boy nodded. "Be careful of what you say around the demon king. He might spare Yuqi because she's useful but the same could not be said about you."
"Then how do I up my chances of survival? Because I say a lot of things with no filter."
"Your best bet would be to stick by someone's side, someone of high rank. They'd be able to intervene for you or punish you on the demon Lord's behave."
Jisung slapped his thighs. "Then I hope you'll take care of me well!" He smiled and Hyunjin blinked.
Jisung just gave him a very sweet and cute smile. Hyunjin sighed. "Fine, but you have to listen to whatever I say!" He added and Jisung nodded with an even brighter smile.
"That's not going to be a problem." He replied and Hyunjin rubbed his temple. He felt that this man was simply going to be trouble.
"Well I have some things to take care of so you can keep yourself busy inside." He said as he got up.
"Or I could keep you company and maybe offer some assistance?" Jisung said getting up as well. Hyunjin eyes him. "And I'll suppose you'll roam around either way whether I say yes or no won't you?"
"Pretty much, I'm curious and like to explore." He admitted. "Very well, let's go then but stay close and try to behave!" He emphasized and Jisung nodded.
They walked outside and were headed towards Changbin and his soldiers. They walked past Yuqi before Hyunjin did a double take and looked back. "Yuqi? What are you doing outside alone?" He asked confused.
"He was being a meanie again so I just walked outside." She admitted looking up.
"And you've just been sitting here ever since?" He asked flabbergasted and she nodded.
"Well um, why don't you come with me then? I am headed towards Changbin to discuss some matters related to the objects, and you could offer valuable information."
"Oh sure, I'd love to help you out Hyunjin!" She smiled and got up. Hyunjin smiled as well and his cheeks were starting to ache for smiling this genuine so often today.
