Everyone had set out to their respected target ready to find their treasure. Yuqi quickly made her way back to fox hill.

"You sure you going back home to retrieve the object is the right choice to make?" A voice asked as she stopped to turn and see Jeongin standing their nonchalantly.

"Well I'm the most inconspicuous for the job. It's my home, people aren't going to question what I'm doing there." She answered hastily.

Jeongin shrugged. "I can see your set on this, but really I'd advise against going there. A bad feeling lingers in the air." He spoke and Yuqi sighed.

"I can't not go, I'll be fine. I'll pop in and out real quick." She said and Jeongin sighed before nodding. "Very well then, be safe and keep an eye on your surroundings." He said and she nodded before resuming her running.

Yuqi entered fox hill once she arrived. She concentrated and felt that familiar feeling. She knew where she had to go. She immediately shared this ability with the others.

"Little fox, how do you know which direction you're supposed to go?" Minho asked through their ability link.

"You just know, walk around a bit and you'll feel it when it's just right." She explained and heard Minho hum.

Yuqi wandered around following the feeling. The object was hid in the palace of course it was. She dreaded this place.

In it was the prefect aka the most ruthless fox alive. He was there to keep an eye on things instead of the actual leader who was in seclusion.

She looked around and spotted the guards. She took a deep breath. "Okay Yuqi you've got this!" She muttered to herself and made her way to climb on the roof of a building.

She quickly maneuvered her way to the roof of the palace. Well palace was a big word it was more like a very humble mansion compared to the rest of fox hill.

Now she had gotten to the courtyard of the mansion which the house stood around. She had to dodge for the guards. Once they were gone she quickly jumped down and his in the bushes.

She perked her ears to listen for any sound. When she didn't hear one she peeked out of the bushes before looking around. The coast was clear so she made her way to the room at the end.

She quickly put her hand on the door handle and opened it rushing inside after checking it was empty.

"Okay so I found it what do I do now?" Minho asks again.

Yuqi walked to the middle of the room and felt it was close. She stamped on the floor and felt it was hollow. She quickly glanced around to find something that could open it.

"Answer me."

"Just give me a sec min, I'm kinda busy right now." She responded in a haste as she touched everything until she touched a book and opened it. Immediately the floor opened up and she inwardly cheered at this.

She made her way down the hatch and was met with a pretty deep way down. Once she was finally down she came before a door with a lock. She groaned before rolling her eyes and using a piece of metal she has on her to pick the lock.

She entered the room and found what she was looking for. It was sealed in a chest how funny. "Okay so just put your hand on it and the seal should appear, then poor the vile of my blood on it and it should open when you read the incantation." She explained.

While she did the same only nicking her finger to make it bleed. She mumbled some words before the object started to shine and the chest opened revealing a dragon scale.

She grabbed it and closed the chest before looking at it.

"Well this is relatively easy." She could hear Minho mummer and she agreed.

"Well look at what we've got here." A voice said and Yuqi's eyes went wide before she felt something cold and metal impale her skin and a pained grunt escaped her throat.

Okay so a little rant, I hate when ppl have like 5000+ worded chapters. Like I'm sorry but I just can't with that, I really skim through it and only read the talking bits and I still get the full story😭 like how do you even. Can't you just split up the chapters so it's more doable to read? Like I just need that end cuz you just keep scrolling n scrolling n it's like it never ends ykw I'm saying? It's not that my attention span is that short but I just get frustrated n bored if I have to keep scrolling for minutes on end with well no end soon yk? I can do 3000 words easily when I'm reading but 5000+ is just crazy to me and it gives me headaches 😔

Also I kinda disappeared for 2 days whoops. This will be the last week I'll be able to update freely n a lot. I'll be working constantly the week after till I'm on holiday. I may try to finish this story this week but idk I've so much planned for this haha
