The day of the battle had finally arrived. They were preparing to leave for the canyon of despair. Perfect place for such a thing. Today the fate of many lives would be decided and lives would forever change.

Everyone was suited up clad in full body armour and weapons at the ready. Minho was at the front with Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Yuqi, Felix, Chan and Seungmin.

"Okay, everyone is ready my lord!" Hyunjin said after double checking everything. Minho nodded. "I've seen some of your skills but I can tell you can all handle yourselves pretty well. So don't die." Minho commanded and they all nodded.

Minho got up on his horse and so did the others. Hyunjin and Changbin rode to the foot soldiers. "Today marks the beginning of an era. We shall fight for our goal and we shall fight for our Lord who has brought us up until this point! Today the demons shall win and we shall rise!"

"Wow Hyunjin's good for boosting morale." Yuqi commented and Jisung chuckled looking so in love staring at him.

"It's one of the reasons why Minho has kept him at his side for all these years." Jisung commented and Yuqi hummed. "Mainly because he absolutely loves Hyunjin like a little brother but just doesn't want to admit it."

Jisung nodded at that. "Oh definitely, he can't admit anything like that."

The demons cheered and Hyunjin and Changbin rode forward making them spring into action and move.

Minho rode in front the others not far behind as they made their way towards the canyon of despair. Yuqi urged her horse to go faster so she was up to speed with Minho.

"So after you win and everything is settled what are you going to do then?" Minho shrugged. "I'll see when we win what I'll do afterwards. But I'm certain that I want a certain someone to stay by my side."

Yuqi smiled. "I'm certain that someone will want that too." Minho chuckled. "We will see." His face became serious again as they neared the meeting point.

They arrived and the soldiers got into formation as they waited for the others to arrive. Soon the enemy arrived with their banners raised high.

Jisung's dad was the leader and he scowled as he saw Jisung side with the dog scum. Jisung shivered but held his chin up as Hyunjin comforted him by drawing circles on his hand. Jisung gave him a soft smile and Hyunjin reciprocated.

"I see a lot of traitors amongst us. No matter we shall kill every single one of them." He spoke to his soldiers who cheered.

He waved his hand and his soldiers starting running forward screaming. Minho nodded to Changbin who also gave the command and so the battle began as the two forces clashed against one another.

Swords and magic clashing against each other. Minho and his 7 generals stood there. Minho glanced at the battle and then at the enemies.

(I forgot how I named Jisung's dad y'all whoops I also forgot how I named the other guy mb)

Jisung's dad and the guy and a few others stood there waiting. Jisung's dad glared before signalling his elite men to also attack.

"That guy is mine." Minho said before changing into his massive dragon form and creating a vicious lightning storm.

He soared in the sky and fired blasts of lighting at the enemy making them fall down. He roared and the others took this opportunity to get themselves into the fight as well. Yuqi busied herself with some minor soldiers who tried to block her. She slashed at them with her sharp nails.

The guy aimed his sword and shot it at Minho who saw and dogded. He glared at the guy before making his descent and changing back into his human form.

Swords clashed against each other as the two faced off. Jisung's dad was attempting to kill his own son while Jisung mainly defended not really wanting to hurt his own father. Hyunjin wasn't far fighting off people and keeping an eye on his lover.

Chan and Seungmin faced off together against a brute of a samurai. They used a combined magical sword attack to throw him off before engaging in some deadly sword play.

Felix and Changbin were fighting side by side assisting the soldiers who struggled a bit.

Yuqi made her way towards Minho as the other guy was attempting to be a bad sport and cheat by literally backstabbing Minho.

Yuqi blocked the attack surprising the guy before he glared at her. "Weren't you supposed to be dead?" He asked confused.

Yuqi shrugged. "Only bad guys stay dead you know." She stood next to Minho who rolled his eyes amused. His dark aura radiated which made soldiers around them cower in fear.

Yuqi smirked before unleashing her fox tails. She had nine now. They glowed a a vibrant white with red markings. A special mark appeared on her forehead as well. Her claws sharpened and her magic got amplified as well. Like a lock that has been broken making her full power rush out.

"You've got some explaining to do after this." Minho said and Yuqi nodded. "Now let's kill this annoying dog."

He scoffed and so the battle continued. Minho and Yuqi against the big brute. Minho used his sword of darkness against the guy's sword of light. Yuqi attacked whenever she had a chance.

The battle raged on and people were getting exhausted. However they persevered to the best of their abilities. But nothing could prepare them for what's too come.

Jeongin appeared at the middle of the field making everyone half and stop their fighting. Yuqi was confused as to his presence. "Only one can win. Only by destroying the other. Zhao Yuqi have you decided which one is worthy to survive and which one isn't?"

"What? No race deserves to be obliterated just so the other could survive! We should be able to live in harmony with each other! Equal treatment for everyone."

Jeongin nodded. "The right answer indeed." He smiled but while everyone was distracted the guy snuck up on them and stabbed Minho in his heart.

Yuqi was shocked before she immediately reacted and jumped on the guy and killed him by using her tails to stab him and drain away his life force.

Yuqi went to Minho and held him close. "You idiot? I thought you couldn't get distracted? You can't die now!"

Minho smiled at her before raising his hand to her cheek. "I'm sorry, lead demon kind in the right direction my beautiful queen."

And his eyes closed and everyone around him gasped. Minhos dead at the cost of winning the war.
