"Current demon Lord?" The boy said confused. "There hasn't been one since that one great battle so many years ago. My daddy told me."
"How's that possible? How did that happen?"
The boy shrugged. "He was alone in his palace and the o'l phoenix used this to his advantage and killed him when he was his weakest. My daddy said it was coming. The demon Lord was mean and would kill his own subjects just for power."
"So Minjoon strayed really far from the instructions I left him huh." He mumbled and the boy looked at him confused.
"Where's your father kid?"
"Dead, my whole family is." The boy shrugged.
"So?"
"So what?" Lee asked confused. "Will you be the new demon Lord and save all of us?" The boy asked and Lee sighed.
"I'm not cut out for that. I'm sure there are others out there fit for the role." The boy shook his head.
"No, demon kind is scattered right now and no one is really strong either. All the great masters fell along with the previous demon Lord. We are on the brink of extinction." He explained and Lee sighed.
He rubbed his temples. "I won't become the demon Lord but I can train you, so you could take on that roll." He compromised and the boy smiled widely.
"Sure! I'm Hyunjin by the way and you are?"
"Just call me Lee."
"Okay master Lee, we should go to the only remaining demon village. The one closest to the old demon palace." He said and Lee nodded.
They journeyed to the village, Lee training him every now and then. He tended to his wound and it did indeed scare. He watched Hyunjin grow stronger and grow in size as well.
By the time they got to the village it was already too late. It was burned to the ground. Hyunjin looked down. "It's all gone." He sighed and that's when Lee heard a cough.
His eyes immediately narrowed to find anything amongst the rubble of what used to be a large village.
He heard the cough again and spotted a speck of white amongst the chared remains. He and Hyunjin immediately went to it and lifted up the rubble together. There they found a white haired boy not much younger then Hyunjin.
Lee repositionned his hands and motioned the other to let go. "Quickly pull him out." Hyunjin nodded and immediately let go and gripped on the unconscious boy and pulled him out of the rubble.
Lee sighed and dropped the piece of charred wood and it left a big cloud of dust. Lee touched his forehead and frowned. "He's inhaled a lot of smoke and his body is covered in burns mark. He's lucky to be alive."
The boy coughed again and Lee concentrated and used his magic to heal him of his internal injuries. The boy groaned.
"Okay let's take him somewhere so he can recuperate."
"But where?" Hyunjin asked.
"I know a place." Lee said reluctantly. He sighed and teleported them there. They all vanished in a poof of black smoke.
Once they materialised again they were in front of two giant black gates. On them was depicted two large scaled black dragons. Both on each side of the door and both in a different position. Both held a different object in their claws.
"What is this place?" Hyunjin asked carrying the boy on his back. "The great ancient demon palace and....
My home."
