"Okay go in and distract them!" Hyunjin ordered. "How?" One idiot asked. "I don't know? Destroy things? Just don't kill people." Hyunjin exclaimed and the soldiers nodded.
"Changbin is this what you have to deal with all the time?" He asked and Changbin rubbed his temples nodding. "There's a whole group of dumb demons in the army."
"Good gracious." Hyunjin muttered sighing. "So do we just wait here and watch over the chaos?" Jisung asked curious.
"Well usually we are on the battlefield too but this is just simple raiding that even lower demons can handle alone. So yes we just observe and make timely decisions." Changbin stated.
He looked like he really wanted to fight someone well more like kill someone. Jisung just nodded.
It didn't take long before the screaming of people drew the attention of the leader and his guards. They started crushing the lower ranked demons pretty easily.
They watched the winged man and presumably leader come down as well. "That's Kai, he's the current leader of the winged tribe, very merciless." Jisung stated and Hyunjin sighed.
"Now we join the fight." Changbin stated before rushing in the fight blocking a hit from Kai saving his soldiers.
Kai's eyes flashed with anger and he pulled back only to attack again. Changbin kept blocking and Hyunjin slipped behind him slashing his arm making him bleed.
The man yelled in anger. "Fucking vile dogs, cheating like the low lives you are."
"Well to be fair Kai you have wings and are twice their size. You could do more damage alone then they could. They're just even out the odds." Jisung stated which earned him a glare.
He let out a chuckle. "Well if it isn't the pathetic immortal Jisung, worse then a dog , son of the great leader of the immortal sect." He spat and Jisung looked unbothered by those name calling.
"Hey why must you be such a meanass chicken!" Hyunjin retored. The man flared in anger stabbing Hyunjin right below his heart. He coughed out blood before laughing darkly.
"You really think someone as pathetic as you can kill me? Think again little birdy." He pushed out the sword with his hands, having wounds on them as well. Blood spilt out of his wounds and Jisung immediately ran to him.
"Yah you idiot!" He said ripping off some cloth to hold against his wound. He ripped off another piece to wrap around his hands and Hyunjin just watched him.
"I couldn't let him insult you like that when you don't deserve it." He said looking away.
"Well that's sweet of you Hyunjin but it's nothing I'm not used to. I'm a disappointment to my father and my sect. For not seeing things the way they do and wanting change." He finished and placed Hyunjin's hand on the cloth on his chest.
"Hold and press down, while I go and kick that stupid bird's ass." Jisung said before leaving Hyunjin and helping Changbin in battle.
It didn't take long before both parties were exhausted and his commander took over for him while kai went back to the house.
"Shit, do you think we gave them enough time?" Jisung asked and Changbin grunted. "He's no match for him either way."

hey continued to push back the winged tribe until Minho appeared and a gust of black smoke knocked out everyone from the other side.
Minho glanced at them with dark eyes. Hyunjin immediately got up and went to him bowing before him. "My lord forgive us, we failed to distract them long enough for you and we failed to do you justice."
Minho tsked. "Don't think so high of this army Hyunjin. They are the weakest most expendable bunch of demons. You disappointed me by getting hurt by that pathetic winged dog."
Yuqi coughed out blood before sighing. "Alright, alright. We got what we came for right? You even got some of your power back. Let's not fill up the space with negativity. Let's head back and think of the good things instead! You got some of your power back and you were able to kill someone like you so desperately wanted to do." Yuqi stated with heavy breathing in between.
Minho rolled his eyes and kept quiet. Yuqi closed her eyes as she felt dizzy and started to lose balance. Minho caught her easy. "pathetic."
"Mhm, I am very pathetic and weak compared to you the great demon Lord, luckily he kept me safe from even more harm, I'm so lucky right?" Minho could do nothing but roll his eyes and snapping his fingers.
Everyone was now back at the camp and Hyunjin and Yuqi were getting treated for their wounds.
"You're a bold one you know that? Not only did he lift a finger to safe you, he also stopped talking on your account and caught you when you fell."
Yuqi just giggled. "He's just very annoyed by me but he knows he needs me to get his power back that's all."
"Hyunjin, how are you feeling?" Jisung asked as he entered the room. "I'm fine, this doesn't really hurt me much." Jisung eyed him suspiciously and tapped his chest making him wince.
"Liar."
"Well duh I'm a demon, we don't like being weak so we lie about that stuff." He muttered as he held his chest trying to compose himself.
Jisung sighed and caressed his cheek. "Thank you for defending me Hyunjin, but don't be a fool and get yourself hurt or hide it from me or Yuqi. We don't judge nor will we laugh."
Hyunjin gave a small smile. "Yuqi is hurt worse then me. This is nothing."
"Yeah I saw, that lord of yours should've done a better job at protecting her! Next time I see him I'll give him an ear full!" He raged and Yuqi laughed.
