Yuqi yawned as she walked out of her hut that's heavily guarded so she wouldn't escape. She rolled her eyes at the gesture but nonetheless greeted the soldiers.

Poor demons were just doing their job after all. She blinked as the sun almost blinded her and when she opened her eyes again. She saw Minho walking towards her, she just stood there.

He stopped in front of her and gave her a look. "Minho." She said and he glared at her. He rushed at her and pushed her back in the hut. Slamming her against the wall, she let out a little yelp. "It's like you want to die little fox. I told you to address me properly." He growled and Yuqi shivered slightly.

"I'm not your underling, I don't have to call you that. Because you aren't my lord, I'm no demon." She replied back to him. It caused anger to flare.

He tightened the grip on her neck making her choke slightly. "I could kill you right here, right now. Do you really want to test my patience?"

She stared at him, challenging him. "If you kill me you won't be able to reclaim the objects containing your power. So yeah you can kill me but you can't."

Minho stared for a little longer before inching even closer. "Once your purpose is done, I will kill you. Mark my words little one." He left to of her throat which caused her oxygen supply to increase again.

She coughed a little but soon regained her composure. "So what is it you need?" She asked him as his back faced her.

"You know why the bracelet broke yesterday don't you?"

She quirked her eyebrow upwards. "What makes you think I do?" She asked trying to hide any sign of her knowledge.

"When we first met. You told me I wouldn't be able to open the objects anyways, so it didn't matter if I got them or not. This entails you know how to get them to break. So tell me now."

Yuqi chuckled. "I didn't know you paid so much attention to the things I said."

Minho scoffed. "Only when it's useful things coming out of your mouth. Now stop diverting the topic and tell me."

Yuqi shrugged. "I have no clue what you're asking me to tell you."

"Don't play dumb with me fox! I know it's supposed to be a true intention." Yuqi's eyes widened and Minho smirked.

"You need to work on your poker face. Now elaborate for me."

"You got lucky once, don't expect it will happen again. After all, a heart as evil as yours can't possibly hold true intentions more then once." Yuqi spoke softly and Minho gave her a look.

"I'll just force it then."

"It doesn't work like that! It has to be sincere otherwise it's not true. Give up Minho, you won't regain your powers by forcing the matter. There's a reason she locked them away with this type of protection over it." She explained and Minho scoffed once again.

"Don't tell me what to do. It's a silly charm that can easily be manipulated." He said before walking out.

"Guards don't let her go out and don't let anyone go inside either. Anyone who breaks my order will be decapitated."

The soldiers nodded and stood firmly before the entrance of the hut. Yuqi just sighed and shrank down to the ground.

"Did he truly intend to protect me back then?" She whispered to herself before groaning. "Why do I even know all this stuff." She whined tired and frustrated.

"I may be able to answer your question."

She turned around to look and gasped. "You?!"
