In the coming days Yuqi was ruthless. She kept everyone trapped and under a tight leash. She forced them too co-operate if they didn't want to give her what she wanted.

Every tribe had something she needed to revive Minho. At last she acquired the final item needed. A corpse flower cultivated for 3 days and nights straight without rest.

Once the flower was finished she stood up and walked to the room containing Minho.

"My lord, are you going to attempt the ritual now? Shouldn't you wait until you're rested? You've been using your cultivation for 3 days and nights straight!" Hyunjin suggested to her.

Yuqi's eyes were fire as they landed on Hyunjin. "Are you telling me to wait when his revival is so close at hand?" She snarled and Hyunjin immediately withdrew himself and bowed to her.

"No of course not my lord."

"Leave." She spat and Hyunjin did as told.

"Jinnie! Are you okay? Is she okay?" Jisung questioned as he saw his lover walk outside the room.

"She's... Nevermind. Minho will bring her back. Now let's go I'm tired and I could use some cuddling with my favourite person."

Jisung smiled coyly at him. "Yeah? Well then let's go." Hyunjin chuckled and kissed his cheek.

"She's ruthless lix, I feel like I made a mistake telling her, he could be revived."

Felix stroked his back. "No I don't think you did. Yuqi just really wants him back, they love each other bin. Yuqi is stressed, she'll be okay again when he's back."

"Let's hope so."

Yuqi placed everything necessary for the ritual and started it right after. She chanted the words and cut up what needed to be cut. She drew blood and made the pearl appear. A blinding light followed as she finished the ritual and in that moment Minho was revived, only Yuqi did not see it as she fainted from overexertion.

Luckily firm arms caught her before she hid the ground. "Silly little fox of mine." He whispered against her pale skin. He kissed her forehead before carrying her bride style and walking out of the room.

Minho glanced around as he made his way to the throne room and sat down in his seat with Yuqi unconscious in his lap. All the soldiers who saw him bowed to him.

"Summon everyone here." He commanded and they listened.

Everyone was confused as to why they were summoned all of a sudden when they entered the main hall and their eyes widened.

There Minho sat with Yuqi in his lap, she was asleep and he was lovingly stroking her hair. But when he noticed everyone enter his entire aura switched up to a more darker one.

Minho raised his eyes and the lack of courtesy before everyone snapped out of their shock and bowed to him.

"Welcome back demon Lord."

Minho raised his hand and they stopped.

"Is Yuqi alright?" Jisung asked and Minho nodded. "She's just exhausted, she'll be fine in a couple of days." He replied and Jisung sighed in relief.

"So now that you're back are we free to go demon Lord? We have sects of our own to manage." Minnie spoke up.

Minho chuckled. "Always so forward Minnie. You are free to go after I say this. Don't take to heart the way you've been treated. Yuqi didn't mean any harm. She just got lost in wanting to bring me back."

"She treated us like lowly dogs!"

Minho snickered. "Yes and? You've been treating the demon clan like less then lowly dogs for years! You've got a few days worth of the treatment we've gotten for years!"

"Now enough about this. No one got harmed, all your items shall be returned. We will come together for talk of how to go forward after my wedding."

"Congratulations on your wedding, I'll look forward to our meeting in the near future for a better future and cooperation with everyone."

Minho nodded and they left. "When did you and Yuqi get engaged?" Jisung asked confused.

"In the past. We met there again, I won't bore you with the details of how. We met and I asked her to marry me and she said yes."

"My lord what happened in the past that made her return and be like that?" Hyunjin asked.

"My father got a little in her head and she knew that some of the items required are sacred treasures of the clans. She knew she would not get them all willingly. So she had to make sure she got them. And she chose this path."

"She caused no real harm so nothing's lost."

Minho looked at Jeongin. "You sly fox, need to do some explaining."

Jeongin chuckled and smiled innocently.

"Jeongin knows something?"

"Jeongin knows everything, he was the one who sent Yuqi my way."

"Remember when my sister locked you up and made those objects?"

"Sister? That woman is your sister?!" Hyunjin asked shocked.

"Yes, but I'm much more sincere then she ever was. Xihe only did things for the people who could give back to her."

Jeongin waved his hand dismissively.

"Xihe used a bit of her soul to reincarnate herself in the future when her power was needed again. Only I put a little stop in her plan and gave Yuqi a piece of my soul as well. This way she wouldn't be a next xihe but her own person. Yuqi was destined to meet you, fate had predicted it. I just helped it along. It's why she has 9 tails and why they were locked away until the moment of her resurrection. It's when she truly became herself."

"You two were destined to meet but what fate had in store for you two was even something I could not predict. I just hoped Yuqi would be kind and compassionate and that she is." He explained and everyone was left surprised.
