"So I heard you're quite the big deal around here." Minho said startling the woman. She turned around startled but soon her features eased as she saw who it was.

"It's you."

"It's me."

"How'd you find me?" She asked intrigued. "Not that hard when you're famous you know." He chuckled and so did she.

"Only for as long as I serve their purpose. If I make one mistake and fail they'll be back to hating on me." She spoke up and Minho nodded along. That's the way of the world, that's how people are.

"So I assume you must come for a reason?" She inquired. Minho gave her a smile. "Yeah, I came here to see you."

She became flustered. "M-Me?" Minho chuckled and nodded. "Yeah I came to see the pretty lady that saved my life. Turns out she's really strong, the next leader of the fox tribe and a nine tailed fox. You don't find that often in this world."

She chucked at that. "No I suppose not."

"Did you grow these flowers yourself?"

"Yeah, it took a lot of time and work. But their blooming quite nicely."

"They're as pretty as you." She once again blushed and shied away from him. Minho smirked. "Why so shy all of a sudden~?" He teased her and she whined. "Stop teasing me."

Minho laughed. "Your reactions only make we want to tease you more." He added and she sighed.

"I suppose all this is quite funny to you, isn't it Lee?"

"Very." He mused and stepped closer to her. "I can hear your heart beating from here." He spoke softly and Xihe blushed even more.

"You make me nervous." She whispered in the air between them too. "And why's that?"

"Because... I kinda like you." She admitted and Minho smiled at her. "I kinda like you too." (Stop playing man)

Minho smiled at her before kissing her cheek. (Wuss, kiss the lips not the cheek 🙄) Xihe her breath stuttered and she looked down.

"Do you know what I am?" He asked and she nodded. "Your a demon."

"And you don't think me less because of it?" He asked and she immediately shook her head. "Demon or not, I like you for you."

Minho smiled at her. "Maybe you can help me then."

"With what?"

"Once your the next leader of the fox tribe you can speak on behalf of my kind, get us to be treated equally. It's the only way we will be accepted together as well." He added making her think about it.

She was a bit reluctant, Minho could tell from her gaze. "I'll think about it, because it would put my position as leader at stake as well. So I would need a solid plan, first I'll have to prove myself and get the people on my side before I can do anything about your situation." She explained and Minho nodded.

"I can wait, as long as you give me your word you'll try."

"Of course!" She smiled and so did Minho. "I have to go now. I'll come back soon." He bid her goodbye.

A few months had passed and Xihe was made the new leader and has been doing many great things for her people and the other clans. She stopped a feud, made food accessible to everyone and all that stuff.

So Minho thought it time to return again and ask her to try again. However he was to be greatly disappointed. "Lee!" She cheered happily as she saw him and he smiled. "Hi, I've heard about all the great things you've done so far. Would you be able to do something about my kind now?"

She hesitated once again and Minho rolled his eyes inside his mind. "Hm I haven't come up with anything yet. Everybody is really reluctant to do so."

"What's so hard about treating everyone equally? They do it for the others as well, why can't they do it for us?"

"It's different." She averted her eyes. Minho scoffed. "It's really not. Listen I came by to say I won't be able to visit for a couple of years. I have to help my kind survive and build them a home."

"Oh, is that really necessary?" She asked and he nodded trying to keep calm. "Yes, but I'll be thinking of you every day." He kissed her cheek and she blushed. "Try and visit okay!" She waved and returned to her duties.

"How'd it go?"

Minho scoffed. "She's just like everyone else. Only treats me differently because she thinks I'm good looking."

"You are quite dashing hyung, definitely above average. Rather exceptional looks." Hyunjin stated and Minho rolled his eyes.

"It's time for the second part of the plan. Training, me being officially crowned demon Lord and then war, for revenge and a better life."

"Yes sir!" Hyunjin saluted and Minho rolled his eyes.
