Minho placed Yuqi gently down on the altar.  He placed his hand on her wound and started pouring some of his energy into her.

He had felt something, there was a faint trace of energy inside her body. A little flicker of Yuqi's fox spirit.

So Minho would just have to feed it, with his own power to awaken it and with that her. The energy needed to overflow her entire body for her to be reawakened.

He didn't know why he did it. But it felt like the right thing to do. He didn't even think about it, he just did it.

He was losing his mind when he thought Yuqi was dead. So everyday he sat there and transferred some of his own power to feed the girl.

He did so everyday for a week.

It's so dark and cold in here. Yuqi looked around, trying to make sense of the darkness. "Is this what death is like? An empty abyss of darkness and coldness?" She asked herself or anyone out there.

Suddenly she saw something in the distance. A red blazing light and it rushed towards her. Before she even knew it, it was in front of her.

She blinked and tried to make sense of this light. It was small but as time passed it grew more and more.

"What are you?" She asked not expecting any answer. "I'm you, or well your spirit."

"My spirit?"

"Yup, when you died, I was supposed to go out like a flame. But I managed to hold on to a flicker of life. Because well I was protected at the last minute."

"How?"

"Minho, somehow he poured some of his energy into us which saved us! Now he's doing the same to keep us alive and wake us up."

"Why?" Yuqi couldn't comprehend it at all.

"Who knows. But listen there's things you need to know, starting with the most important bit. You hold the last slimmer of Minho's power. By some twisted means of fate yk."

"Huh? And how do I give it to him?"

"That's for you to figure out. Most do it via kiss, or something more intimate."

Yuqi choked on her own saliva. "W-what?"

The spirit chuckled. "You can find other ways. Also we will be reborn. This is our rebirth. You see truth is, we are actually a nine tailed fox that's why, we are able to survive in this circumstances, with these conditions. So when we awaken we will be totally different from before."

"Why? How did we grow up to be like any other fox?"

"It's a seal places upon us to protect us from the world. Only able to break under dire circumstances or when you reached a certain age." It explained and Yuqi just blinked taking in all the information.

"Okay, not the weirdest thing that's happened to me." She shrugged.

"Yeah I know."

"When will I wake up?"

"In a few more days." She said and Yuqi nodded.

Another few days had passed and Yuqi's body was visibly changing. Her hair was now a vivid red

Her body had more colour and her heartbeat was there, beating faster everyday.

9 days had passed before Minho returned to her to be met with the biggest shock of his life. Yuqi was awake and her lips were pressed on his.

Yuqi her arms were around his neck to keep him there and Minho just stood there in shock before ultimately kissing her back.

Yuqi pulled away after a few seconds and looked away. Minho who was still in shock but wanted more grabbed her by the chin to make her look at him and placed his lips on hers again.
