After a few days of battle preparations. Minho had personally saw too it that everyone got extra training and was fully prepared for everything.
He took special care of making sure yuqi had everything down and was ready. He wanted to be sure nothing could possibly hurt her. (Simp fr)
"You're really making sure this time my lord."
Minho eyed him and nodded. "Of course this battle is the last one. It's the decisive one. If we don't win this one, it's over for the demon race and everyone involved." Minho explained and Hyunjin understood.
"You've got more things to protect now, I can the way you're more tense. You've changed Minho. You've become yourself again, the one I met when I was younger." Hyunjin smiled at him.
"I'm glad he's not completely gone after all." He chuckled and Minho rolled his eyes. "Shut up before I put you in the ground Hyunjin." Minho threatened but there was a glint of amusement in his eyes and a teasing tone in his voice.
Hyunjin smiled and raised his hands in surrender. "Okay okay, no need to get violent now." He chuckled and Minho patted his head and smiled at him.
"Now go to your lover and make sure he doesn't die."
Hyunjin gasped. "My love is a strong warrior. He won't die so easily like that. But you're completely right, some extra training never hurt anyone." He said before swiftly disappearing and going to Jisung.
Minho chuckled before he felt tender hands on his eyes obstructing his view. "Guess who~" a voice whispered and Minho rolled his eyes which the person obviously felt.
"Hm Yuqi. It's not that hard to guess. Not everyone has such soft and slender fingers such as yourself." Minho explained and Yuqi huffed.
She giggled and wrapped her arms around his shoulders instead. Her chest flushed straight against his back and Minho hummed.
"Are you scared?" She asked and Minho shook his head. "More like worried if we won't win the casualties we'll face."
"Don't be so pessimistic, we'll definitely win. Because we have strong fighters and an even stronger goal. Just believe in everyone because they believe in you. Otherwise they wouldn't be here supporting you and fighting for you."
Minho hummed and rubbed Yuqi's arm. "You're right, now go get to training. I don't condone slacking off." He threatened and she chuckled before letting go and going back to training with the others lead by Changbin.
Minho just watched and observed seeing how everyone's skills were and what they needed to improve on.
Because the battle to come is a dangerous one where it's all or nothing. An all out battle against foes unknown and strength unknown either.

Short chapter bec um I completely forgot what I wanted to write after previous chapter bec well I disappeared ha ha ha.. I'll be updating my other fics in the following days for sure.
