Today was the day they'd get the object from the winged tribe. It was closest to where they were and they decided to go all around that way to end up at the fox tribe so they could go straight to the demon palace afterwards.

Yuqi was dressed in black and had a black veil pinned to her face so she wouldn't get recognised. She took a deep breath as she walked out of her room for now and walked towards the others.

Hyunjin eyed her up and down. "Yuqi you're too colourful for being dressed fully black." He commented and Yuqi let out a soft chuckle.

"I actually really like black." She stated as she looked around for Minho. "Where's Minho?" She asked before suddenly feeling a cold presence behind her. Well shit.

He bend down so he could whisper in her ear from behind. "Keep calling me that and see what it gets you." His deep voice sent chills down her spine. She cleared her throat and took a step forward.

"Okay shall we go now that everyone is here?" She questioned as she glanced over all the faces.

"My lord?" Hyunjin questioned and he nodded. "Move out." Changbin commanded as he and Hyunjin along with the army made their way to skyria, the town of the winged tribe well more like city.

Hyunjin returned only to drag an absent minded Jisung along with him. "Honestly pay attention!" He scolded the poor boy and Jisung sheepishly smiled at him.

Yuqi watched this and couldn't contain her smile. "Right shall we your demoness?" She courtesied and he rolled his eyes.

"Mocking me will only make it worse little fox." He said as he started walking with Yuqi on his trail.

She let out a sigh. "It's not my fault you are so uptight and want the whole world to now down to you. You know even if you do manage to take over the world there will always be people who are unwilling to bow down to you."

He eyed her. "You'll be one of them I assume?" She nodded. "I believe in free will, I refuse to bow down to anyone who forces people to follow them. Leaders should be chosen by the people, it's an important role that they should earn. Everyone is equal and everyone can be a leader if they possess the right qualities."

Minho scoffed at her words.

"You're naive that's what you are. The world will always treat people less, they will always find someone to hate, to treat them like dogs."

"And that's where they're wrong. But do you really think that doing the same as them will make things better? They'll just hate the demons more and the cycle will never end."

Minho stopped walking and pinned her to the three. She gasped and sucked in a deep breath. She's never been this close to him before and she was kinda nervous.

But now she had a chance to look at his features more clearly. He was truly handsome beyond compare.

"They need to fear before they'll know what it's like! They need to feel the fear they felt! The fear I felt when I was being persecuted for being different and locked away! I was trapped in a crystalline structure for over five thousand years and afterwards I was trapped again for three thousand years just because I wanted revenge?" He chuckled darkly.

"Do you see those dogs that treated us like shit being locked away and persecuted by everyone?" He asked her.

"Just how old are you?" She whispered and Minho looked at her. He could see sadness in her eyes and something he could only describe as pity. He scoffed. "Don't you start pitying me little fox."

She shook her head. "I'm not, I just feel sad for you, for being alone for all those years. I can only imagine how lonely you felt. I'm sorry you had to go through all that."

Her words angered him and he gripped her arms together and his claws appeared dugging into her skin. She winced at that but didn't say anything else.

"You're apology doesn't do shit! I don't need your apology or anyone else's. I need the world to bow down before me, cowering at my feet like the dogs they are." He spat before pulling out his claws from her arms, making blood splatter and pour out of her wounds.

Yuqi didn't say anything and just followed after Minho who walked away.

They arrived at the place shortly and had to wait until all the guards were drawn away by the army so they could sneak in.

Minho stood against the trees patiently waiting so they could steal what's rightfully his. Yuqi sat down on the floor and ripped a piece of cloth from her dress so she could bind it around her arms.

She struggled to get it wound around her arm and she let out a sigh. Minho noticed this and scoffed at her pathetic attempts before walking over and taking it out of her hand and wrapping it around her arm tightly.

She watched as he took the other piece of cloth and pulled her other arm towards him at which she winced a little. Minho looked at her briefly before looking down again.

"Thank you." She said as Minho finished wrapping it around her arm. "Don't bother. I only did so because you were too incompetent to do it yourself and I don't need you bleeding and alerting the remainder of security."

"Backup requested! The demon army is raiding the city!" A guard yelled and soon a important looking guy walked out of the room. "Everyone to the city immediately! We must safeguard the people and stop them before they reach here!"

Minho smirked. "Perfect let's go." He said as he watched the winged tribe fly off towards the main part of the city to stop Minho's army.
