Sent to the world of Dragon Age Inquisition (Cullen x reader)

Chapter 2

READER'S POV

Dreamworld...

I opened my eyes to see that I'm not in my room anymore and I'm standing in a weird world. I looked around there were green clouds and green mist around me followed by some floating rocks and some very large boulders. I even saw some red crystals poking out of the ground but something told me not to touch that stuff.

"(Y/n)....(Y/n)...." I heard a voice call out to me and then I followed where the source was coming from.

"Hello? is someone there?"  I called out but I didn't get a response aside from the echo of my own voice.

I don't know why but this place feels familiar, like I've been here before but, I can't recall where. Just then, I saw a golden light from a distance. 

"Inquisitor...." I heard that same voice calling out to me.

I walked towards the golden light until I got to a large area where there's no walls but a floating platform. After I got close enough, I reached over to the golden light and then it shined brightly. I shielded my eyes for a moment and then I saw a woman standing before me but, I couldn't see her face because they were covered by the bright light. 

"(Y/n)...you have been chosen...the inquisition needs you..."

"What are you talking about? who are you?" I asked her.

"Come...Inquisitor..." The woman spoke as she held up her hand for me to take. 

I was about to reach out and take it when I heard growling. I turned around to see a black dragon. It roared and it flew towards us. The woman vanished from my sight before I made a run for it but, when I got to the edge I stopped. I turned around to see the dragon stalking towards me. I slowly shuffled back only for a small part of the ledge to crack.

"Kill her!" I heard a man's voice speak. The dragon growled and it charged towards me. 

Not wanting to get eaten, I took the leap of faith. I fell through the sky until...

*Thud!!*

"Ouch!!" I shouted after I fell out of my bed and landed on the floor. I looked around to see that I'm back in my room. I sat up and rubbed the back of my head before the door opened revealing mum.

"(Y/n), are you all right?"

"I'm fine...just a crazy dream I had before falling out of the bed."

"That's bound to happen when you eat those cheesy snacks before going to bed. I warned you time and time again they would give you nightmares," Mum chuckled after she noticed the cheesy snacks on my desk. I'm one of those gamers who likes to snack on something while having a long gaming session.

"Anyway, come on, get up. You're going to be late for school," Mum told me before she left my room.

I got up and stretched before I got ready for school. I got changed into my school uniform and made sure that I had everything I needed before I went into Dylan's room to make sure that he was up and ready to go. I opened his door and saw that he's changed and ready to go.

"Hey buddy, are you ready to go to school?" I asked him.

"Yeah!" Dylan smiled before he grabbed his school bag and then we headed down the stairs.

We got our breakfast and then Mum took Dylan to school and I headed to school as well. Once I got there, I got to maths class and sat down at my usual desk and sighed. Jessica sat next to me and said, "Are you okay? you look like you didn't sleep well last night.
