READER'S POV

We arrived back in Haven and I explained to the advisors about our visit at Redcliffe. They were surprised when I told them about my encounter with Dorian and how his ex-mentor were able to create time magic. I couldn't go into details because there were somethings I couldn't tell them yet. I knew I had to make a decision soon but, it was hard to decide who I should approach to help close the Breach.

In the game, if I side with the Templars, I would go to Therinfall Redoubt, meet some of the templars and then later on we would discover red Lyrium and the templars have been drinking it. Plus, I'll fight against the Envy demon and meet Cole at the same time. On the other hand, if I side with the Mages, that would mean I would go to the castle and confront Alexius but he ends up using a special pendant that would send me and Dorian into the future where Thedas has been taken over by the Elder One. That's something I definitely don't want to see.

I'm still in the war room trying to come up with some pros and cons about each side and neither of them are good. I only wished there was some way I could prevent both sides from being taken over by Corypheus. Then again, I did manage to slip that note to Dorian. I just hope he can find a way to stop them before the march on Haven if I decide to make an alliance with the Templars.

I sighed and rubbed my temples as I felt another headache coming on. "This isn't getting me anywhere. I need some air."

I left the chantry and went over to the training area. I needed to take my frustration on something. Ever since coming here, my brother and I still haven't found any clues on how we got here or how to get back to our world. I have looked at some books about teleportation magic  and nothing could explain how my brother and I ended up in this world. I know its supposed to be a video game but, this is reality. Even some of Solas' books didn't explain anything and I couldn't ask that guy about it. If I ask him about it, he'll get suspicious and eventually, he'll put two and two together and ask what I know about him. That's a risk I'm not willing to take.

I struck the training dummy a few times with my twin daggers before one of them was stopped by a sword. My eyes widen before I looked to the side to see Cullen.

"Commander," I spoke with a surprised expression.

"Training at this time? you won't have much energy tomorrow."

"I'll be fine besides, I needed to blow off some steam. This whole thing between the Mages and Templars is getting to me," I spoke before I backed away from him and then I went back to striking the training dummy.

"I can clearly see that. But I don't think a training dummy would help you improve your sighting skills."

"Are you suggesting a sparring partner? who?" I asked him.

"Who else? me."

I looked at Cullen with a surprised expression before I asked him, "Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Why wouldn't it? Unless you want to have Cassandra?"

I was about to say yes but, I managed to stop myself because I realised that if she did became my training partner, she wouldn't go easy on me.

"On second thoughts, I'll spar with you. But don't blame me if you get teased for getting your butt kicked by a girl," I smirked as we circled each other before we held our weapons at the ready.

"Don't get cocky Herald," Cullen smirked which made my heart skip a beat.

I snapped out of my fangirl moment and got serious as I held my twin daggers at the ready. Culle held his sword at the ready before we stared at each other for a moment before I made my move. I tried to hit him with my daggers but Cullen managed to block the attacks with his sword.
