READER'S POV

The next day, we received word that we can travel to Val Royaeux to meet up with the clerics. However, I knew it wasn't going to go as we planned but, I can't tell anyone that for obvious reasons. Anyway, Leiliana's scouts are still over there so we're getting ready to leave Haven but, a certain someone wants to tag along with us.

"No," I told Dylan sternly.

"But big sis! It's not fair! why do you get to go but, I can't!" Dylan pouted as I placed my armour on.

"For the last time, we're going to Val Royaeux to speak to some clerics to see if they can help with the Breach. This is not like one your school trips Dylan, its business," I told him before I adjusted my ponytail and left the cabin I'm staying.

Dylan followed me and then he got in front of me and shouted, "I want to go with you! my friends we're saying its amazing and there's walls surrounding the place so I wouldn't be in danger!"

"In case you forgot Dylan, these clerics can use their words to send an angry mob at me and the Inquisition. I can't keep you safe if you're with me while I'm dealing with them. Now stay here and behave yourself," I told him before I tried to walk past him but, I didn't get far with something grabbed my left leg.

I looked down to see Dylan had grabbed a hold of my leg and he clung onto me like a koala bear.

"I'm going with you, big sis! even if that means I have to hold onto you like this!"

"Seriously?! the ball and chain method again, Dylan?! let go!" I shouted as I tried to move but, Dylan kept a tight grip so I ended up dragging Dylan.

Solas, Cassandra and Varric saw this and laughed. I stopped and frowned before I told them, "Word to the wise; never spoil your children and siblings. Dylan! let go!"

I tried to pry him off my leg and he whined and then his grip got tighter and tighter. I sighed in annoyance before Varric spoke up, "Your brother wants to come, huh?"

"Yeah he does but, I told him that he can't come and then this happened," I spoke with a frown.

"Guess we have no choice but to bring him with us," Solas spoke up which made Dylan smile.

"Don't encourage him, Solas! he needs to learn that he can't always get what he wants!" I scolded him.

"Herald, Dylan has been stuck in the village for a while now and we'll be behind some city walls anyway. Its not like anyone has reported a rift in the area."

I sighed when Varric told me this before I looked at Dylan who was giving me the puppy eye look.

"All right, fine, you win!" I told him before Dylan released my leg.

"Yay!"

"However," I spoke sternly before Dylan loses that smile. "You have to listen to me and do exactly what I say. That also means you need to stick to us at all times. I don't want you running off into a busy crowd like last time."

"One time sis!"

"One time? make that twice. It took me, mum and our cousins to look for you in a big place and where were you? at a bakery store looking at some desserts," I spoke with a frown and that made Dylan shut up.

"Okay. I promise I'll behave myself."

"Good, now go and get ready," I told him before he nodded his head and went back into the village to get ready.

"Honestly, where has he learned that behaviour from?" I asked out loud before Cassandra, Solas and Varric looked at me.

"What?" I asked them before they went to get their horses ready.
