READER'S POV
It had been a few days since the invasion at Adament Fortress. The Grey Wardens arrived in Skyhold and they're ready to help us with the fight against Corypheus. Some people still have doubts about this idea but, since we're going up against darkspawn we're going to need all the help we can get.
Speaking of which, news about me and my brother being from a different world had started to spread. Quite a few of our companions had been asking me questions and I told them the truth. Well, everyone except for Cullen, I've been avoiding him because I was worried how he was going to react when he learns the woman that he loves and cares for isn't who he thought she was.
I followed Leiliana into the tower as we discussed what happened at Adament Fortress.
"Loghain sent me one final report. He's on his way to Weisshaupt. As for the Grey Wardens, they are fighting demons and red templars while staying clear of Venatori. You dealt Corypheus a significant blow, Inquisitor."
I looked away from her with a sad look and said, "We owe much of that to Hawke... and my grandmother and to the Divine.
"Yes," Leiliana agreed before she continued. "While you bested Corypheus here and at Halamshiral, he himself was not present either time. We fear he is close to finding another way to enter the Fade. When you have a moment, Cullen and Josephine are waiting in the war room with an update."
I nodded my head and was about to leave when Leliana asked, "What was she like?"
I turned to look at her as she asked, "Divine Justinia, or her soul, or the spirit that took her form. I read your report. I know it isn't clear, but..."
"She seemed... calm. Serene, even. And she guided us the whole way through.
"That does sound like her," Leiliana smiled a little.
"She asked me to tell you something. She said, 'I'm sorry. I failed you too'," I repeated the Divine's words to her.
"Oh..." Leiliana mumbled before she stood up right. "I should finish this before it slips my mind. Perhaps later we might discuss the matter further. I still have questions about what Cassandra told me about you."
"Understood."
"And thank you," Leiliana spoke before she left.
I sighed a little and thought to myself, 'I guess I'm going to have to face the music sooner or later.'
I made my way to the war room but then, someone grabbed my shoulder. I turned around to see Solas. I could see the small frown on his face as he looked at me. I knew this was coming after we arrived back.
"We need to talk," Solas spoke before I followed him into his room where we can get some privacy.
We were silent for a moment before Solas asked, "What do you know?"
"Hm?"
"What do you know about me? You said you played a video game version of this adventure you speak of and you know what happens to us including me. What do you know?"
"A lot," I told him with a frown.
"Meaning?" Solas asked with a frown.
"*Sighs* It was no coincidence that you just happened to be at the conclave. I know...that you were the one who caused this mess to happen. You...gave the orb to Corypheus in hopes to unlock its true power because you were too weak to do it yourself after your long slumber. You were hoping to use the orb's powers to tear open the veil and bring back the Elven gods after the world burns, so to speak."
