READER'S POV
It had been a few days since we settled into Skyhold. We've been getting a lot of people arriving into Skyhold and our influence has spread across Thedas. I may not be any closer to finding a way back home but, life as the Inquisitor has it's perks. My companions have also settled in well too and they've been teaching me after I became the Inquisitor.
Vivienne has been teaching me how to be a good leader and how to socialise those who are in the 'upper class'. Bull disguised me as one of his men and I listened on the Inquisition soldiers and what they thought about the whole situation. We even sparred on a few occasions after Vivienne fully healed me with her magic. Dorian has even joined our cause. Sure he's Tervinter but, with his expertise on the Venatori and blood magic, it might come in handy. Plus, he's got connections in Tervinter and other noble houses that can be an added bonus to our cause.
After their little squabble, I discovered Cassandra is a fan of Varric's book series, swords and shields. The look on her face when I managed to bring Varric and his next volume of the book was priceless. At least tempers have cooled down since Cassandra nearly tried to kill Varric after discovering that he lied about Hawke. Other than that, things have been going really well so far.
Once the mess had been cleaned up, the hall is looking a lot better and we've been assigned to some quarters of our own. I love my new room and it looks impressive in-person compared to the video game. I sat at the vanity table and I looked in the mirror while brushing my hair. Ever since I received that compliment from Cullen, I've been trying out different styles to use when I'm not fighting demons. I gathered some of my hair and tied some of it back before I looked at the hair ribbons. Vivienne bought these for me after I asked her for some advice on how to make myself look pretty. I was a little sceptical about trying the hair ribbons but, I decided to give it a go.
I picked up a (F/c) hair ribbon and tied it into a bow. I looked my reflection and checked my hair a few times and smiled. I look cute with the hair ribbon and my hair looks nicer now it has been left down. I smiled in satisfaction before I left my room and got on with my duties. I arrived at the war room after breakfast so I could make arrangements to travel to Crestwood to meet up with Stroud and Hawke to find out exactly what happened with the Grey wardens. I could feel Cullen's eyes on me as we discussed this and other matters like planning to protect Celene from the assassination attempt in the months to come.
"Inquisitor, have you done something different with your hair?" Lilianna asked.
"I did. I decided to try out a new look. Be honest, does it make me look a bit...girly?" I asked them before Lilianna giggled.
"Not at all. The hair ribbon makes you look cute and beautiful, doesn't she, commander?" Lilianna smirked at Cullen who looked away with a hint of blush on his cheeks.
"Um....yes...she does..."
I blushed and smiled when he said this before we carried on with our meeting. After it was over, Cullen left first and I was about to follow him when Josephine and Lilianna stopped me by grabbing me by the shoulders and pulling me back into the room.
"Hey! what are you doing?!" I shouted.
"Out with it, you changed your hairstyle for Cullen didn't you?" Josephine asked me.
"No."
"Don't lie. We noticed Cullen couldn't stop glancing at you the moment you walked into the room. Clearly, he said something to you that made change your hairstyle," Leiliana smirked.
"...How did you work that one out?" I asked her with a small frown.
"Lucky guess," She giggled.
"Fine, Cullen may have said something, so what? it doesn't mean anything," I told them and then Josephine smirked.
