READER'S POV

It has been a very long but busy week for me. Dorian's father came back into his life and things were a little tense after the revelation about him being in love with men instead of women but, they managed to make up. I think Dorian is still reeling from the shock of it all but, I'm sure he'll be fine. Other people might not be so pleased about Dorian's situation but, I'll make sure to let those people know that I don't have a problem with it and they can keep their mouths shut before they spread awful rumours.

Afterwards, Iron Bull was contacted by someone from the Ben-Hassrath, and I knew what was going to happen. We join them on the Sword Coast along with his charges to stop a red lyrium smuggling operation. From there, I get to decide whether to persuade Bull to make the chargers to retreat or sacrifice them. I've seen enough losses and bloodshed so I told Bull to make the chargers to retreat and they did just that. However, that has made Bull a traitor or what the Ben-Hassrath call him 'Tal-Vashoth'. If Jessica were here, she would be pleased that I made this choice, at least he won't be able to betray me or the Inquisitor later on in Trespasser.

Aside from all of this, Cassandra and I were able to find Lord Seeker Lucius and the other missing seekers at a fortress called Caer Oswin a few weeks earlier. There we fought off some soldiers who are a part of The Order of Fiery Promise. Cassandra found an old friend, Daniel, who has been corrupted and he told us that Lucius has sold the missing seekers to the Order of Fiery Promise. We found Lucius, he revealed his reason why he betrayed the order, we took him down and then Cassandra took the book that he showed her and read it over. It turns out she found something called Rite of Tranquillity and then she decided to rebuild the Seekers of Truth.

Long story short, I've been completing the inner circle quests from the video game and things have gone well so far. I've some good choices and we're also planning to do something about Adament Fortress soon. Hopefully, we can do something about the Grey Wardens before something bad happens.

Right now, I'm taking a nice relaxing bubble bath after the busy day I had with Josephine. She was trying to get her family business up and running in Orlais but, a noble household had prevented that from happening, even though they no longer exist. She wanted to resolve this and get rid of the contract using her connections but, I always find it faster to use Leiliana's spies to destroy the contact and that was the option I chose. In the end, Josephine was happy, despite the choice I made, and is thankful that she and her family are safe.

I sighed softly after I recalled the events and I felt relaxed after the today's events. After soaking for a while, I got out of the tub, dried myself off and changed into a nightgown. I sat on the couch and picked up the book that was sitting on the coffee table. The book that I'm reading is 'Tale of a Champion.' I asked Varric if I could get a copy of it and he happily gave it to me as payback for helping him with Bianca, the real one and not the crossbow. I opened to the page where I left off and read the chapter for a few minutes when someone knocked on the door.

"It's open!" I called out and then I heard someone walk up the stairs. I looked up from my book and saw Cullen. He's not wearing his armour this time, he's wearing a beige tunic and dark brown bottoms.

"Cullen, good evening," I smiled as I closed the book and sat it on the table and adjusted my robe.

"Sorry to disturb you, (Y/n). Can we talk?" Cullen asked.

"Of course," I told him as I moved my legs off the couch and patted the spot beside me so Cullen can sit beside me.

"So what did you want to talk about?"

"I wanted to thank you...when you came to see me...if there's anything...*sighs* this sounded much better in my head," Cullen spoke softly as he scratched back of his head.
