READER'S POV

Before leaving the Hinterlands, I got a new horse and it wasn't the chestnut horse that Dennet gave me. It's a black horse with a white blaze. As soon as I saw him, I had to have him as my mount. Sure he seems proud, stubborn and a bit temperamental but, to me he's perfect. Dennet mentioned he thinks he's the leader of the herd. The five of us rode on our new horses to Haven. It took me a while to get used to riding on the back of a horse but I was starting to get the hang of it.

I stretched a little and then Cassandra asked, "Everything okay?"

"I'm fine except my backside is starting to hurt."

"Don't you ride horses where you're from, kid?" Varric asked.

"Uh...not really. To be honest, this is the first time I've ever rode a horse," I told them honestly.

'The only thing that I was able to ride back home was a bike and a scooter. At least they were safer to ride compared riding on the back of a four legged animal,' I thought to myself before we finally approached Haven.

I got off Blaze's back and then I stretched my back a few times. Cassandra looked at me up and down and I said to her, "Don't give me that look. I'll make sure to fit riding lessons in my schedule."

"Good idea," Cassandra told us before I heard running footsteps.

"Big sister!"

I turned around on time and then Dylan hugged me tightly.

"Oh! hey buddy, did you miss me?"

"I did! but, something bad is happening outside of the chantry! there are people arguing!" Dylan told me.

"What?"

Dylan grabbed my hand before he pulled me along with him as we made our way into the village. I spotted a large group of people outside of the chantry including some mages and Templars.

"Your kind killed the Most Holy!" A Templar shouted.

"Lies! your kind let her die!"

"Shout your mouth, Mage!" The templar shouted as he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword.

"Big sis! do something!"

I was about to when Cullen stepped in and pulled them apart.

"Enough!"

"Knight captain!" The Templar shouted with a surprised expression.

"That is not my title. We are not Templars any longer. We are all a part of the Inquisition," Cullen told them.

"And what does that mean, exactly?" Chancellor Rodrick asked.

"Back already, Chancellor? Haven't you done enough?" Cullen asked with a frown.

"I'm curious, Commander, as to how your Inquisition and its 'Herald' will restore order as you've promised.

"Of course you are," Cullen grumbled. "Back to your duties all of you!"

Cullen told the others before the group of people walked away. I couldn't help but admire him when he handled the situation.

"Big sister, why are you staring at the commander?" Dylan asked.

I snapped out of it and said, "I wasn't staring."

We walked over to Cullen and the Chancellor before he spoke up, "Mages and Templars were already at war. Now they're blaming each other for the Divine's death."

"Which is why we require a proper authority to guide them back to order."

"Who, you? Random clerics who weren't important enough to be at the Conclave?" Cullen asked with a frown.
