Chapter 16: Unraveling the Mystery

BTS dorm was alive with laughter and chatter as the members gathered for breakfast.
The mood was light and cheerful, with everyone still riding the high from the previous day's revelations.
Taehyung and Jungkook's official relationship, along with the budding YoonMinSeok dynamic, had brought a new sense of unity and joy to the group.

As they sat around the table, Namjoon cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention. "So, I know we've had a lot of fun lately, but there's something we need to discuss."

The room fell silent as the members looked at Namjoon expectantly. "It's about the mysterious voice we heard and the connection to the artifact.
I think there's more to this story that we haven't uncovered yet."

Jin nodded, his expression serious. "Agreed. We need to figure out what's going on before it becomes a bigger issue."

Hoseok, ever the optimist, tried to lighten the mood. "Well, maybe it's just another adventure waiting for us. We've handled everything else so far."

Jimin grinned, nudging Yoongi. "And we've got Yoongi-hyung's grumpy cat powers to help us out."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, but the fondness in his gaze was unmistakable. "Yeah, yeah. Let's just figure this out."

Namjoon pulled out his phone and opened a map of Seoul. "Based on the clues we've gathered, I think the next step is to visit the old library in the city.
It's rumored to have ancient texts that might give us more information about the artifact and the voice."

The members agreed, and after finishing their breakfast and feeding their manager some lies to get permission, they set out for the library.
The journey was filled with their usual banter and playful teasing, keeping the mood light despite the underlying tension.

As they arrived at the library, they were greeted by the musty scent of old books and the quiet hum of knowledge. They split into pairs to search for any relevant texts, with Taehyung and Jungkook heading to the history section, Yoongi and Jimin to the mythology section, and Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok to the archives.

After an hour of searching, it was Yoongi who stumbled upon an old, leather-bound book with strange symbols on the cover. "Hey, I think I found something," he called out, drawing everyone's attention.

They gathered around a large wooden table as Yoongi carefully opened the book. Inside, they found detailed descriptions of ancient artifacts and their powers, along with references to a guardian spirit that protected these items.

Jin's eyes widened as he read aloud,
"The guardian spirit is said to communicate with those who possess the artifact, guiding them on their journey. The voice we heard must be the guardian trying to reach out to us."

Hoseok leaned in closer, pointing to a passage. "It says here that the spirit can be summoned through a specific ritual. Maybe that's what we need to do to get more answers."

Namjoon nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense. Let's take this book back to the dorm and figure out how to perform the ritual."

Back at the dorm, they gathered in the living room, with the ancient book spread out on the coffee table. Following the instructions, they set up a small altar with candles, crystals, and the artifact they had found.

As they began the ritual, the air in the room seemed to thicken with anticipation. They joined hands, closing their eyes as Namjoon recited the incantation from the book. The candles flickered, and a soft, ethereal glow enveloped the room.

Suddenly, a gentle, soothing voice filled the air.
"You have done well to find me. I am the guardian of the artifact, and I have been watching over you."

The members exchanged glances, a mix of awe and curiosity in their eyes. "What do you want from us?" Jungkook asked, his voice steady.

The guardian's voice replied,
"I am here to guide you. There is a darkness that seeks to use the artifact for evil. You must protect it and ensure it does not fall into the wrong hands."

Taehyung squeezed Jungkook's hand reassuringly. "We will protect it. But can you tell us more about this darkness?"

The guardian's voice grew somber.
"It is an ancient force, one that has been seeking the artifact for centuries. You must stay vigilant and trust in your bond with each other. Only together can you overcome the challenges ahead."

As the voice faded, the candles extinguished, leaving the room in a comforting darkness.

The members sat in silence for a moment, absorbing the gravity of the situation.

Namjoon broke the silence, his voice filled with determination.
"We have a responsibility now. We need to stay united and protect this artifact."

Hoseok nodded, his usual cheerful demeanor replaced with seriousness. "We've faced challenges before, and we've always come out stronger. This will be no different."

Jimin looked at Yoongi, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "Guess it's time for your grumpy cat powers to save the lives , hyung."

Yoongi chuckled, pulling Jimin into a side hug. "Yeah, yeah. Just remember, we're in this together."

"And we're not saving lives" jungkook said and looked at jimin then at taehyung who was pouting like child.

With their resolve strengthened, the members spent the rest of the evening making plans and ensuring they were prepared for whatever lay ahead. Their bond, already strong, had only deepened with the knowledge that they were not just friends and bandmates, but protectors of something much greater.

And as they drifted off to sleep that night, their hearts were filled with a mix of anticipation and determination, ready to face the new adventure that awaited them. Together, they were unstoppable, and no ancient darkness could stand in their way.

"-But it was jiminie who said about saving lives, why were you looking at me"
