I stared at her before she gripped my throat.

Girl: I can do without your jokes.

I gripped her hand which made me angry again.

Darren: (That face again.)

She released her hand on my throat before I glared at her.

Darren: Do you think I'm lying? If I'm lying then I would've stabbed you when your guard was down. Is it so wrong to talk now? I don't care what we talk about, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care if you ignore me. But... there's one thing I want you to know. I...

I pointed my finger at her while my cursed energy radiated off of me.

Kotori: "Darren, calm down. Your cursed energy levels are rising."

Darren: I'm not going to reject you.

The girl stared at me before taking a step back. She turned around and faced me with her back.

Girl: Darren, was it? Are you really not going to reject me?

Darren: Never.

Girl: Do you promise?

Darren: Do you want me to lie instead? I promise.

Girl: Do you swear on your life?

Darren: I'll swear it on a binding vow if I have to.

The girl looked out the window before scratching her head a bit and facing back against me again.

Girl: Hmph, I won't let you fool me with those words. You big dummy!

Darren: Listen, I-

Girl: But well, you know...

She turned away a bit flustered which made me grin a bit.

Girl: I don't know what you're up to, but you're the first human who has made any attempt to try and talk to me. I'll use you to gain information about this world. Yes, it's important, it's super important.

I giggled a bit which made her glare at me.

Girl: Is there a problem?

Darren: No, no, there are no problems, it's just... are you sure that you're a spirit?

The girl got angry a bit before glaring even harder.

Darren: I mean that you're exceptionally smart for a spirit, of course.

The girl got back to her normal face but still kept a stare on my face.

Darren: Anyways, what's yours?

Girl: My name? I have none, but I suppose I need one to hold a conversation. Darren, what would you like to call me?

I placed a hand on my chin before looking around.

Darren: Hmm... a name... a name...

I placed my earpiece back in my ear before I could hear Kotori again.

Kotori: "Now, that's a tough one, for all we know, Darren, you've never been able to name anything. You can't name a goldfish even if your life depended on it."

Darren: "Oh shut up, I can name things pretty well."

Kotori: "How about giving her the name Tome?"

Darren: "I already know that's a bad name."
