Darren walked through the school before he suddenly dropped a pen on the floor.

Darren: Ah-

Darren attempted to pick up the pen before dropping it again.

Darren: Should I be worried? I'm not feeling any pain, but my arm feels heavier somehow. I guess I should go to the student council...

Darren sighed and walked away from the school.

Darren: Well, if Alya didn't come find me, I guess nothing is interesting going on.

-At home-

Darren summoned Igris and clashed blades with him before Igris swiftly disarmed him, Darren's daggers fell to the side before they impaled themselves into the floor. Rider slowly walked into the training area where Darren was panting heavily.

Darren: Sorry, I was training, I'll have lunch ready in a minute.

Darren tried to pick up his dagger before he dropped it again and almost impaled Darren's foot.

Rider: Darren?

Darren: That's the first time I've ever almost stabbed my foot. Sorry, I'll pick it up right away. Don't worry about it and just sit at the table.

Darren used blue to pull the dagger close to his hand as Rider helped Darren stand.

Rider: You must be fatigued, Darren... it's alright, I'll help you... do you need me to...

Darren brushed off Rider's hand before sheathing his daggers.

Darren: I'm fine... don't worry about it, I'm a genius, after all.

Igris returned to Darren's shadow before Darren walked away from the training area. A sudden doorbell ring could be heard which made Darren walk towards the door.

Darren: Coming.

Darren twisted the doorknob and opened the door to see Rin standing there. Darren quickly closed the door and walked back inside.

Darren: Must've been the wind.

Rin slammed the door open and glared at Darren.

Rin: How rude, closing the door on a lady.

Darren: T-Tohsaka, what are you doing here?!

Rin: I'm here because you stood me up on our regular check-in. Where's your sister and Yatogami-San?

Darren: Oh, them?

Darren scratched his cheek and smiled awkwardly.

Darren: Both of them live next door. I told them I'd make lunch later. I will admit that I forgot to meet you. But when did we agree on regular check-ins? This is news to me.

Rin scrunched up her face before aiming a finger gun at Darren.

Darren: ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, I GOT IT! As partners, we should check in regularly!

Rin lowered her finger gun before walking into the Itsuka residence.

Rin: Let's use this opportunity to hold our meeting here today.

Darren quickly turned towards Rin and pushed up his sunglasses.

Darren: Hold up, Kotori, Tohka, Shiori and I were just about to have lunch!
