Rin slowly entered Darren's house and shivered.

Rin: Wah, it's cold! What's this? You have a huge hole in your window!

Darren: That Lancer guy hit me with his lance and I crashed into it.

Rin had a shocked look on her face as she stared at Darren's usual outfit.

Rin: You don't have the magician outfit on anymore. Interesting, wait... you fought him on your own before you summoned Rider?!

Darren: Not even a fight. He just kicked my ass.

Rin: Eh? Not even trying to make yourself sound good? Where are your sisters?

Darren: I just received a call from Shiori that they'll be staying over with Yuta-Sensei for the night.

Darren: Hey, I'm an awakened Limitless user, alright? Besides, I don't see you summoning Arsene or having an outfit like mine.

Rin placed her hand on the broken glass and chanted a little. The glass started to repair itself without cracks as Darren poked it.

Rin sighed and looked away from Darren.

Darren and Rin walked towards the living room as she sat on a chair. Darren placed a cup of tea on Rin's side of the table before sitting down in front of her.

Darren nodded his head and Rin sternly stared at him.

Darren: A brand?

Rider: She is referring to the command spells, Darren.

Darren stared at Rider before looking at the markings on his hand.

Darren: O-Oh, you mean these?

Rin: Yes, those symbolize your status as a master. They're also spells that bind your servant. So as long as you have those, you can control your servant.

Darren: What do you mean as long as I have them?

Rin: Command spells are inviolable orders. They force your servant's obedience, even if it means bending them to your will. Rider broke off her attack earlier, remember? You didn't even use a command spell for that, that's more of the interesting part. Your rebellious will is strong enough for that. However, you only get three such orders, so try to not waste them.
