Shiori just stared at Yuta with wonder.

Shiori: Watching movies?

Yuta: Yup, from classics to niche horror films to tricky French films. Every waking moment, you're gonna watch movies. Of course, you won't be watching it alone.

Yuta took out a cursed corpse and handed it to Shiori.

Yuta: You'll be watching it with this guy.

Shiori: What's with this ugly cute doll?

Yuta: Cute? It was one of the cursed corpses that I had salvaged.

Shiori: I KNEW IT! I CAN FEEL THE CURSED ENERGY OFF THIS THING! And? I'm not getting anything from it.

Yuta: Don't worry, here it comes.

The doll suddenly punched Shiori in the face and it jumped out of her hands.

Yuta: That cursed corpse will wake up if it doesn't receive a consistent flow of cursed energy. And it'll attack you as well. Like I said there's a variety of movies here. Comedy, action and suspense. These movies will make you cry, laugh and feel sad. Tohka and the others have no idea that you are alive right now.

Yuta bent down and tried to insert a movie into the movie player.

Yuta: Let's start by watching one movie without making it wake up. In other words, don't get hit. This training will teach you how to control the flow of cursed energy under any condition. You don't want to give too little or too much. Otherwise, your techniques might go haywire like Darren did at Shinjuku.

Shiori placed her hands on the doll, which was quickly moving around, and then it slowly calmed down and went back into slumber. The moment that she sighed, the doll started to move again 

Yuta: For now, it's set to match your cursed energy, which is kinda low. But stay frosty, it'll slowly require a higher energy level over time.

Shiori: There's no way that I'm going to let up. So which one first...?

Yuta: My recommendation is that in this movie, the heroine is extremely annoying but meets a gruesome death.

Shiori just gave him a blank face.

Shiori: Spoilers, dude. Let's start with an actio- NGH!

The doll immediately hit Shiori in the face before she threw the doll on the floor.

Shiori: AGH! DAMMIT!!!

Shiori threw the doll on the floor before groaning.

Yuta: Hey, if you're annoyed, you better keep your cursed energy steady.

-To Darren and the others-

Darren POV:

I sighed before pocketing my hands and walking in.

Maids: Welcome home, Master. Please take a seat back there.

One of the maids pointed at a seat while the three of us sat down where they appointed us.

Alya: So this where you two come to hang out?

Alya stared at the menu and awkwardly smiled at the choices.
