Caster is seen standing in the middle of a field while holding Kurumi Tokisaki's body.

Caster: I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body and fire is my blood...

Caster stabbed a blade into the floor before a gauntlet appeared on his arm.

Caster: I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to death, nor known to life. Have withstood pain to create many weapons.

Caster took a step forward as many blades stuck out of his body.

Caster: Yet those hands will never hold anything. As I pray... unlimited blade works.

A man with brown hair appeared before Darren and stabbed him with his sword.

???: You wanted to be a hero? You wanted to be a hero? Then die like one!

The man slashed off Caster's head before he collapsed on the floor. Many memories flashed through Caster's head to him gritting his teeth until it bled.

The alarm clock next to Rin started to ring before she covered her face with her arm.

Rin: So that's how he became a heroic spirit.

Rin looked to the side and sighed.

Rin: What an idiot... I don't want my future partner to be someone like him.

-After a while-

Caster slowly entered Rin's room and sat down on a chair while sipping a cup of tea.

Caster: How long do you intend to play around?

Rin: Hm? Just until 7:30. Any later and I will be late for school.

Caster: I wasn't referring to your leave for school. I was referring to the Grail War. Cooperating with another master isn't a bad idea. But you've chosen the worst possible partner.

Rin sipped on her tea after getting changed and sighed.

Rin: Didn't I say that I won't break my pact with Itsuka-Kun? I admit that his servant isn't much in a fight, but I have no complaint with him as an ally. I mean... I feel like Emiya-Kun would never betray me, no matter what.

Caster sighed and looked away from Rin with a growl on his face.

Caster: Listen, that boy isn't a winner. If you must ally with someone, even Yuko would be better.

Rin slammed the teacup onto the plate and stood up from her seat.

Rin: Don't be absurd, Caster. Are you telling me to take a common stance with that monster? I admit that he has the potential as Darren with both of them having a Persona, but...

Rin squinted his eyes at Caster who stared at the floor with a sigh.

Caster: True that he's a monster, but he behaves like a real mage. And if you too, are a mage, you should prioritize results over ideals. 

Rin: Your snide remarks won't work. I don't intend to change my position.

Caster: What in the world has gotten into you?

Caster placed his teacup on the table with a sigh before crossing his arms.

Caster: What's gotten into you? You've been acting strangely ever since you got to know Darren Itsuka. What happened to your detached rationality?
