6:30 PM

I can't believe it how did I lose track of time, especially for this?

I was called this morning from my other job, they had a huge social party they were catering tonight and needed everyone to come in. There were going to be a lot of people of high status, socialites, business people and very rich families.

This also meant we would all have to be professional, which wasn't a problem for me.

The event was going to be at the Crystal Room at the McDuffin Building it was the most popular party room for anyone who wanted to host events in high luxury.

I needed to hurry up so that I could change into my server uniform which was your typical black pants, white button-down with a black vest and matching bow tie.

Gripping my purse I started running and as soon as I saw the building I sprinted...

15 Minutes Later

I was lucky to have gotten here with 15 minutes to spare, once I arrived I went to go change quickly and pinned my hair up.

" Girl you made it, " said Lashawna walking into the changing room already in her severs uniform " I was working on my paper for class and I lost track of time " I explained looking myself over before I went out "Thank goodness your here tonight all the other female staff members are acting up " sighs Lashawna rolling her eyes.

" Why? It's just your typical social party, isn't it? " I asked walking over to Lashawna who gave me a look "Oh I guess you don't know," she said smiling "Know what? " I asked confused.

Smiling at me Lashawna starts explaining "Amongst the many other handsome and very rich men tonight is the most eligible bachelor " she says now making me roll my eyes " Of course that explains things and let me guess the others are purposely gonna leave a few buttons undone " I answer " bingo so apparently this guy is not only the richest guy attending but he's looking for a Mrs " Lashawna states " maybe give it a go? " she nudges me.

Lightly laughing at what she said I shook my head " No I'm good and I've got too much going on to even think of dating " I explained.

" Well just in case you change your mind " teased Leshawna smiling along with me " Again I'm good let's go," I said before we left to go get briefed on the food we'll be serving.

This is ridiculous.

I hate attending parties or social events, but I was advised to make an appearance for both good status amongst our many partners and investors. Apart from them rich families and socialites will be invited, who no doubt will want to get my attention. And if that wasn't bad enough amongst them will be wolves 🐺, that are no doubt the other Alphas who will bring the selected females who think will be a suitable mate.
