Courtney's POV
" Is she going to be okay? "
" Thankfully she didn't lose too much blood 🩸 because you guys got her here fast; apart from a fever the area will be swollen for a couple of days keep an eye on it "
I heard voices unable to tell if it was a dream or if it was people. They mentioned a fever which probably explains why I'm breathing heavily and my body was hot.
Slowly opening my eyes my vision was so blurry that I could barely make out who it was.
" Oh my god she's waking up...Courtney? "
Blinking slowly I see Bridgette beside me with a worried expression while the other person I didn't know looked at me with a straight expression.
" Brid...gette? " I asked slowly attempting to sit up but as I did a sharp and very painful sensation on my left shoulder made me cringe causing me to fall back.
" Don't move " said Bridgette helping me adjust my position " It hurts...what happened? " I ask feeling both my body heat up and burn with pain " Noah!!! " exclaimed Bridgette grabbing a cold cloth then pressing it on my forehead to cool me.
" This will help her," said Noah pulling out a bag with clear liquid "Good thing I brought this " he added.
( AN: Because I've watched this so many times and I learned a bit about it during my schooling )
Trying to breathe I watch as my right arm gets stretched out followed by the surface of my hand getting sterilized; " get me a coat hanger " Noah ordered Bridgette before inserting a needle 💉 into my skin causing me to squint.
Securing the needle in place with clear tape he holds the bag for a moment just as Bridgette returned.
" Hold this," he says giving Bridgette the bag again reaching into his supplies to grab a bottle and needle " This pain is gonna be hard on her " he adds filling the needle.
Apart from this pain and fever I was feeling so weak I needed to know what happened " Bridgette " I call in a low tone voice " Hey you're gonna be okay " she says reassuring me " Where's Duncan? Is he okay? " I asked feeling my eyes get heavy.
Both of them looked at each other momentarily neither one answering me, before I could say anything I was dozing off again.
" Duncan "
