AN: It's about to get even crazier

Normal POV

After seeing wolves jump out of the woods Courtney saw it as a chance to escape but it was also a blessing, if they hadn't jumped out then the redhead prick would have cut Heather next.

" We gotta go " exclaimed Courtney in a rushed tone of voice quickly grabbing Heather's hand and pulling her into the woods.

Hesitating at first Courtney had to get them out of danger.

" What's going on?! " Heathers asks as she is led away " I don't know but it's not a good idea to stay " answers Courtney as they run.

Turning her head back to check if they were being followed Courtney thought this would give them enough time to get away as far as they could. She couldn't believe what they just saw, it was also more official that the hallucinations from that night were real.

Stopping momentarily they stopped to take a couple of breaths but Courtney felt a sting when inhaling, they barely had any proper winter gear on and neither of them knew how far they travelled when they were taken.

The wolves were fast and no doubt would catch up to them in no time.

" Courtney your bleeding " breathed Heather staring at the wounds from earlier; She had forgotten about them in some way Courtney was thankful they weren't as deep and the cold numbed it a bit, but she knew they were enough for blood to drip from.

Watching the blood on the snow was a dead giveaway and no doubt they will come after them.

" Listen we need to split up " explained Courtney " No are you fucking crazy...did you not see what's after us," said Heather looking at Courtney as though she was insane.

Cupping Heather's face " I know, but we have to; head back to the cabin and get help " Courtney ordered as Heather shook her head "No no no I can't let you be out here alone " cried Heather as Courtney was about to speak a snap was heard.

Pulling away from her Courtney got worried "Go now go " she exclaimed but Heather was hesitant.

Hearing another loud snap making them both look in the same direction.

" You better come back " breathed Heather before running towards the opposite direction...

" JUST RUN!!!! "

Screaming in hopes that it got more attention to get them to come after Courtney.

Running into the trees 🌲 seeing as they were close together Courtney thought hopefully it would give the wolves a hard time to get through it; even now as she was running the pine needles were pricking me and the branches would slap her.

She had to get through this.

As Courtney ran when breathing it stung her throat more, and she was also beginning to feel her temperature going down.

Being that it is winter ❄️ now of course it gets cold, especially at night.

Right now though she needed to keep moving, unknowing of where she was headed; Courtney could only hope Heather was getting as far away as she could.

" Come on Courtney keep going " she breathed while running with the moon 🌓 being the only light.
