Courtney's POV

The sounds of moving through the woods were indescribable, the loud swipe-like sounds were intense, the cold air was making my face go numb and my fingers were almost frozen.

Looking up at this stranger who oddly was affected the the freezing air. I could barely move this guy was strong and if I tried struggling I could most likely fall off, but I couldn't let anything happen to Heather.

But also I never could imagine that there actually exists giant wolves 🐺 that were the size of vans. I thought I hallucinated that night but it or they were real!!!!

What was going on? Who are these people? What do they want from us?

We were moving at such an intense speed that everything we passed looked blurred. The way they ran was something.

" STOP!!! " shouts the redhead making the others immediately stop running and look back "What is it Scott?" asks the other guy carrying Heather " Let us go you assholes," she said trying to escape.

* HOWL * * HOWL *

My eyes widen hearing howling " SHIT!!!! THEY'RE COMING!!! " he says glaring looking all around " That ain't good " spoke the other " All this trouble for revenge and a pretty lady " said Scott looking at me wickedly.

Getting nervous I don't understand what he's talking about I don't know anything about this whole situation. Why am I even getting involved?

" Let's move!!! Dominique doesn't like waiting " he adds before we start moving again " and he's especially excited to meet you, lady ".

My eyes widen hearing him say that.

What do they want with me?!

" What's in store for you is gonna be fun " laughed Scott's smile statistically "Not to mention how he will come running for ya " he added before we started running again.

Duncan's POV

Hearing all the howls saying what areas they were in or checking for the outsiders and the humans they took.

I ran with intensity through the woods jumping and leaping like it was nothing, this was urgent I needed to find them fast before anything happened or worse.

When I heard the message my blood 🩸 boiled knowing that it wasn't just Heather in extreme danger more important Courtney.

This wasn't how I wanted to tell her about my other side, I should have told her the truth when I went to the apartment but I was a coward.

Now because of me, her life is on the line.

" Courtney forgive me "
