"Are you really okay?"
Tipid niya akong nginitian habang inaayos ang damit niya.
"Yeah..."
We postponed an orgasm because I suggested that it would be uncomfortable doing it here—in the restroom.
Honestly, I'm also surprised by that thought. Usually, I was always out of control when touched, but now... I'm concerned.
Isa pa, I wanted to know first what happened yesterday and earlier. I will admit that I miss sex and all that but my worries about her were dominant.
"Where are we going to do it?"

"You know, Rhys. We could've just done it in here-"
I cut her off. "My place." Or Lolo's mansion, for specifications. Wala namang tao roon dahil nandito silang lahat sa party, so...
"Okay."
Lumabas kami sa restroom nang tahimik pagkatapos naming maglinis. Malayo naman iyon sa pwesto kung saan ginanap ang party kaya walang makakapansin sa amin.
"They continued without you?" Aniya nang makalabas kami sa lote. My car was parked somewhere outside.
I sighed.
Unbelievable. Her mind is busy traveling in real time while my head is still stuck at her confession.
She likes... me? She fucking likes me? I mean... how? And... for what exactly reason?
"Why did you not play?"
"They continued without you." I answered her with her own question.
"I-I... I was not feeling well."
"That's why you knocked yourself inside the restroom?"
"Okay naman ang performance nang wala ako, ah? Ikaw ang kailangan doon. You're the rhythm guitarist."
"Hwang's there... for god's sake." He's the lead guitarist. They can do it without me.
Kinapa ko ang susi sa bulsa ko. Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa kaniya.
"Besides, I performed. How do you like it?"
Kumunot ang noo niya. "H-Huh?"
I chuckled. "Nothing."
I opened the front seat when we reached my car. Napatingin si Maelle sa akin bago sumakay.
"Is there something wrong?"
Umiling siya.
"What is it, then?"
"Happy birthday..."
Umawang ang labi ko. Slowly... a smile crawled into my lips.
She knows?
"I want you to come with me..."
Hindi matanggal ang ngiti sa labi ko.
"Where?"
"You'll see."
I closed the front seat door.
"Alright. Let's go."
We walked a few blocks away from the site until we saw an abandoned amusement park. Huminto si Maelle sa tapat niyon kaya huminto na rin ako.
