WOOYOUNG

Wooyoung squeezed his eyes shut, his hands supporting him on the floor that he kneeled on with sweat dripping down his neck and some from his forehead to the floor of the dance studio. He tried to recollect his breath, taking in oxygen through his nose and breathing out from the mouth. This was the effects of dancing non stop for literal minutes till point of perfection and yet he was still not satisfied.

His facial expressions, his aura, charisma was nothing to write home to. His movements weren't as sharp as the professional dancers he'd spent time watching. And he thought that if he was to perform like that in front of people, he would have the worst stage presence known to man.

When he felt like his muscles ached less, he stood back up, glanced up at himself in the mirror, watching the sweat still dripping down his face. He wiped it off with his sleeves, feeling too hot in the room but the fear of taking off his jumper was too much. What if someone walked in and saw him?

He reached for his phone, starting the music to go again from the start.

Wooyoung headed straight to Meraki after school, scared that he was already late for his shift. He quickly went in while one of the workers took the apron off and threw it at him, glaring at the younger.

"Late as always."

Wooyoung completely bowed 90 degrees whispering, "I'm sorry."

He really wasn't bothered to work today. The pain in his muscles was still fresh and adamant but he needed the money. He quickly took over the job the other worker had left, taking orders, preparing drinks and serving cakes and pastries, collecting empty cups, washing the dishes. They were once again short staffed and since the other workers saw him as some unprivileged kid who was overworking himself to manage to pay rent, they left him with most of the work. Some would've said they did it out of pity, some would say they did it out of good heart. Wooyoung knew they did it because they were lazy and judgemental as fuck. All they cared about was their salary at the end of the month.

He was cleaning down the counter when the number of people making orders started to reduce. Then the bell rang. He looked up, watching San walk in with a girl he'd never seen before.

He gawked at her black curls, perfectly shaped face, dark skin and cute smile. Not to mention she was nearly half of San's height. Wooyoung was sure he'd be an entire head taller than her if he stood next to her.
