San's eyes twitched when Hongjoong proceeded to ignore him for the nth time that day. To the point he wanted to know what his problem was. In the morning, during their first music lesson, he didn't bat an eye to the younger, choosing not to work on the piece they were composing together. In the afternoon, he skipped their Wednesday lunchies as he liked to call them. And not once had he smiled at San. So he went into the music room at the end of the day to see Hongjoong and Chan packing up to leave.
Chan left first, waving quickly at San. Then it was just Hongjoong left in the room.
"Hyung can we talk please?"
Hongjoong stared at him, "You're talking right now."
"No I mean like have a proper conversation. Since Monday you've been giving me the cold shoulder out of nowhere. You don't speak to me, you don't reply to my text and you quite frankly refused to work on our piece together. What's going on?"
"What's going on is-", Hongjoong stepped closer, pressing a finger on San's chest, "I trusted you. Well enough to tell you I liked Wooyoung. Next thing you do is to go around with him?"
San blinked, "I don't understand-"
"Of course you don't."
"Hyung you're making no sense right now."
"Look I need a break. From you and whatever fake act you got going on. Chan can take over in your music tutoring. I really trusted you, San."
"Can we just calm down for a sec? I'm so confused. What do you mean fake act? I tried to set you up with him."
"Yeah. And where did that land us in?"
"You can't be serious.", San stressed, "You're doing this over some guy?"
"It's not just some guy, San. It's the guy that I had feelings for and trusted you well enough to help me with. Instead the best you could do was go behind my back and try to get with him instead."
"Who the fuck are you getting this from? I never tried to get with Wooyoung."
"Of course you didn't.", Hongjoong packed his things in the music room to leave.
"Hongjoong this is ridiculous."
"It's ridiculous to you because you've been caught."
