SEONGHWA
"Seonghwa hyung!", Seonghwa looked at the direction of the voice to see San running up to him on a Saturday afternoon at the city shopping centre. He stopped in his tracks, flashing him a genuine smile.
"Waow, look at your face.", San squeezed his cheeks, "You're all radiant. Something good happened?"
"Nooo", Seonghwa blushed.
"No way! Your crush asked you out?!"
"What?! of course not! I mean only in my dreams, sure."
San snickered, "You're head over heels. I've never even see this crush of yours. Is it a girl or a guy?"
"None of your business!", Seonghwa smacked his arms gently before they made their way to one of the clothes store. Seonghwa glanced around carefully before dragging San to the women's section, hoping to find something to his taste. He picked out a white tennis skort and showed it to San.
"What do you think?"
"It looks nice. It'll suit you and that body of yours."
Seonghwa rolled his eyes, "Every chance you get."
"Whattt, I've heard a lot of girls who wished they had your body. If we changed just a few more things about you, you're as good as a girl."
"I am a male, San."
"I know.", San lifted his hands in the air as if surrendering, "Are you gonna try it on?"
"Here?"
"Well where else?"
"I'll just buy it and hope it fits. If it doesn't, I'll return it. Simple as. Oh.. Uhm- San?"
San sighed with a little laugh a bit later, "You want me to pay for it. Give me your card."
"Thanks.."
"You dress like this to school, how come you're so shy about it in public spaces like these?"
Seonghwa shrugged but gave San his card instead while he waited outside for the younger to pay for the outfit with his card. He was scared of judgement. In school, while most people tend to give him dirty looks for wearing clothes that may not be 'fitting' for a guy or in simpler terms, mostly feminine clothes, Seonghwa was good at ignoring most of them because he knew how much they envied him. Envied his wealth. He tried to keep a low profile seeing as most of- if not all of his friends except San took advantage of the money his parents had. The only bad thing was that San went to a different school so he was basically a loner.
