WOOYOUNG
It'd been one week since his suspension. Most of the time, he was locked up in his room and had quite frankly refused to go home after the fit he'd thrown previously. He'd never once reacted the way he did but at that moment Wooyoung felt his head tearing apart, he was losing his damn mind at everything going on around him and the last thing he needed was to be left with bruises and cuts by his father. So he just screamed the way did. He knew going back would mean he'd had to explain himself and no explanation would be strong enough to save him from his father's anger. So until he recovers from such a blow, he was not going back to that hellhole.
In the mean time, San had been doing a great job at keeping him company. He was forbidden from going to the dance studio which meant he couldn't even practice. He still went to work as usual but San's visits were no longer a thing. Every night he stayed at Meraki, waiting for him to show up but he didn't. Wooyoung wasn't surprised. He did have a girlfriend now so he had better things to spend his time on. At least San valued his existence during the day.
Seonghwa was still invisible for a long time. He hadn't made any contact with Wooyoung which wasn't much of a shock to him after his brutal answer. Wooyoung still felt like shit and he deemed himself as an idiot. He never knew how to receive love so any act of kindness really had his hopes high.
San had asked Wooyoung to go to the park with him on a Saturday and he agreed in a heartbeat. He didn't expect the elder, however, to bring Yeseul with him. The two were already sitting on one of the benches waiting. Wooyoung was about to turn round and leave without being noticed but heard his name being called out loud and clear by San. He turned around and the guy was literally running up to him. So much for avoiding this.
Wooyoung wasn't too fond of Yeseul. But from the moment he spent with her, she was just as sweet as San. She offered to do things with Wooyoung often pushing San aside to the point he sat at the corner while the two played with kid's things.
Wooyoung watched San fold his arms with a scowl while Yeseul had the time of her life with him. She was an angel. Maybe that's why San had his eyes out for her. Even though she was a year younger, she still treated Wooyoung like a little brother and as much as it felt odd to him, he still liked it.
In the end, she remembered San's existence and ran to link arms with him, kissing his cheeks to get rid of his pout.
"You two left me out.", San muttered. Wooyoung was trailing behind them.
Yeseul rested her head on his arms, "Oldies like you shouldn't relate with us younger ones."
Wooyoung watched their proximity and fondness. San looked at her the exact same way he looked at San. He felt jealous. Ridiculously jealous. Something he wasn't even aware he could feel. His invading thought was the idea that that should've been him. He scolded himself countless times for being so blind. For being so obsessed with Seonghwa. For not looking at San. For not realising. And for pushing him away that night at Meraki. Now he could still feel his lips every night and couldn't do anything asides remind himself that he'd never feel them again.
