SAN
San thought he was tripping when he walked into Meraki at 6pm that evening to see Wooyoung looking much brighter and happier than usual. But now he thought he was a genuine mad man seeing as the younger was actually talking more than usual while cleaning down the tables after the cafe had been closed.
He was too shocked he didn't even know what to say but he tried to savour the moment before it was way too far from his reach.
Wooyoung brought the bucket and handed it to him, "Make sure not to spill it on either of us this time."
San let out an embarrassed laugh at the memory of what had happened last time. He didn't know where Wooyoung's sudden cheery attitude came from and he'd quite frankly had to question Yeosang if he'd passed his 'disease' unto the younger.
It wasn't that he didn't like this slightly bubbly Wooyoung. He just couldn't believe it was the same guy from a few weeks ago who wouldn't say more than one word every five minutes. He never spoke until he was spoken to but now he was bringing up conversations.
Midway through his random conversation with Wooyoung, San glanced once at him again to notice him still fussing with a stain on the table. Like the first time he first helped him do the cleaning up. He wasn't sure, once again, if he was to say something so he just watched in amusement. Wooyoung's cheeks were huffed out, his cheeks red as he focused primarily on getting it off.
San thought he looked adorable.
After a solid few minutes, the younger looked satisfied. San assumed he'd managed to accomplish his mission of trying to clean off whatever it was on the table to begin with. San chuckled lightly, shaking his head as he went back to mopping the floor.
The two finished up much quicker than usual and compared to other times when they worked in pure silence or just San trying to make little talk, this time around they had actual conversations. It may not have lasted as long as his conversations with Yunho or Yeosang lasted but it was fairly long for someone like Wooyoung.
He even laughed a little from time to time and for every soft giggle, his long hair would bounce along with it. His hair had volume and San wanted to know how much time he spent on keep it so healthy. Genuinely.
When Wooyoung decided to put his hair in a bun, seeing as some of it was obstructing his view, San couldn't control his breath getting stuck in his throat. Of course not all his hair was held back, some of it still fell and the messy look all the more added to how attractive Wooyoung looked at that moment.
