WOOYOUNG

"Mum? I can't come home this weekend.", Wooyoung spoke into the phone on the Friday morning before the school camping trip.

"Why?"

"We've got a camp trip that I need to get ready for. The old man will have to wait for later."

There was a sigh on the other line, "How long is the trip?"

"A week."

"A WEEK?! That's so long!"

"It's seven days."

"Still."

"...Are you still taking those pills?"

Wooyoung's mum paused, "Of course not. I stopped ages ago, love."

Wooyoung didn't believe it one bit but there wasn't much he could do.

"Don't leave me. Please."

"I won't.", she spoke softly.

Wooyoung ended the call, falling back down into his bed. The night with San played fresh in his mind and he couldn't help but think over his past. He'd been trying to stop this bad habit he'd picked up. What mattered to Wooyoung at the moment was healing. He thought being away from home, in a new environment where no one knows his past, would've helped. He now had people he could call friends, he was almost dating a guy he thought he truly liked. Hell, he'd even had his first kiss. Everything should've been fine.

He'd convinced everyone he was doing okay, all that was left was to convince himself.

He spent his morning in bed because he had no morning classes. But soon came afternoon and he had to get ready to go to school. He actually managed to eat a protein bar before leaving.

He was on his way to class when he ran into Jaesuk. He was expecting a glare which came of course, with an additional shove. Wooyoung immediately apologised as if any of it was his fault, attempting to manoeuvre around him and his friends. But his attempt failed and he was pulled back.

"Still drawing that class back?", Jaesuk asked with an irritating voice.

"No. I try not to."
