SAN
San was watching the whole commotion go down at the cafeteria that day and wasn't even sure what to make out of it. He couldn't hear what was being said but he could see Jaesuk throwing his tray content at Wooyoung and the look on the younger's face like he was about to cry. All eyes were on them. Before he could step up to intervene, Wooyoung was already leaving the cafeteria.
"That's the guy your friend likes right?", Yeseul pointed out.
San turned his head back to her, "Yeah. I need to go check on him but I know he'll need his privacy right now so I'll go later."
"Is he always being treated like that?"
San shook his head, "Not that I know of."
Yeseul hummed. The two were starting to get used to the whole dating idea. They weren't official yet but had been spending time a lot more and had gone on two dates together. San was really starting to get fond of her, especially since she was really sweet.
He was still thinking back to what had happened with Jaesuk. The guy didn't have a good reputation in the school and was known for easily picking on others, especially those who he felt were at a disadvantage or less influential. The school was filled with people who were too busy to even bully others since work load was a lot for the students and they were always trying to be ahead of others. However, it didn't mean that people like Jaesuk wouldn't exist.
The bell rang for end of lunch and San had to see Yeseul off to her own department while he headed over to music. He still had to talk to Hongjoong. They'd been ignoring each other for far too long and San was beginning to lose his mind. The lesson that afternoon was focused mainly on theory rather than practical and San hated music theory. He missed the days when they focused on easier topics such as melody, rhythm, scales and what not. Now they were advancing to much higher levels like electronic sound production and analysing music, which is actually harder than it sounds.
San tried his hardest to keep his eyes open. Or at least one eye open. He kinda needed to pass music theory to be let into any entertainment company so the sooner he began to love it the better for him. He felt himself instantly spring up when the lesson was over, convincing himself to catch up on missed work at the library later. While others were leaving, San quickly made his way to Hongjoong before he could even think of making a beeline for the exit. Hongjoong didn't spare him a glance but San was persistent.
"Hyung."
No response.
"We can't keep doing this, hyung. Can you please look at me?"
