WOOYOUNG

It's all in your head. It's all in your head, Wooyoung.

Wooyoung scrubbed his hands harder than he'd intended, not necessarily helping with his dry skin.

It's all in your head.

He was having one of those sleepless nights where Wooyoung couldn't seem to close his eyes when he laid his head down for so many reasons. He'd been battling with himself on whether to give up his spot. But even if he did, Jaesuk wouldn't get it since he wasn't even in their dance class anymore. This was a once in a life time opportunity. He couldn't just give it away because some kid told him to. But Wooyoung knew himself better than anyone that whatever decision he made would come to bite back at him in the future. In the end he decided to do it. He couldn't select a song choice or any style of dance and he was starting to lose hope.

Wooyoung was scared to go back to school. So he gave it a few days until he felt like he had the mentality to deal with Jaesuk again. He was walking through the gates of school, expecting to have all eyes on him, ridiculing and mocking him and yet not one. Guess everyone was just busy with their own lives. He had his eyes glued down and didn't realise when he'd harshly bumped into a taller figure. He looked up to see Seonghwa and honestly he should've been excited but he wasn't. He didn't even get a smile as a good morning.

He really must be done with me.

"Hi..", Wooyoung whispered after a while, "I was just-"

"I'm a bit busy right now can we talk later?"

"Huh?- oh yeah.. sure."

Seonghwa gave him a half assed smile before leaving to meet up with his other friends. Wooyoung faced the school building entrance. That was it. Every bit of nice thing he had was gone in a heartbeat.

__

Wooyoung had successfully managed to avoid Jaesuk for almost the whole day, throughout his classes and around school. He did not go to the cafeteria at lunch. He stayed in the school garden area, scrolling through his playlist to find a song. The competition was in a month. And he hadn't even decided on a song.

He was scrolling for heaven knows how long but the familiar Tamda scent drift up his nostrils. He glanced up to see San taking a seat on the grass next to him.
