CHAPTER -3

Author's POV:

Two days later in the morning.

"Tu jyada bakwaas mat kare (don't talk nonsense), get off my way I'm getting late"rumika said while getting annoyed with his brother. "Izzat mar meri bada Bhai hun tera(respect me, i am your elder brother)"she scoffed "izzat insano ki hoti hain janwaro ki nahi ab hatt yahan se (respect is for humans not for animals, now get out of here)"she said while pushing him hard and run to her mother.

Rumika's POV:

I came downstairs to my mom while running"yrr just look at your lovely son he's getting me late"i said to her who was busy making breakfast "why are you sending her alone what if she is troublesome there" "jyada Gyan Dene ki jarurat nahi hain (there is no need to impart much knowledge)" I said him "chup dono (quiet both) don't stress she'll take care of herself now go breakfast is ready" mom said taking my side and i stick my tongue out while drinking water. I heard the door bell ringing, i quickly put the bottle inside the fridge and went to open the door only to see Rashmi who was talking with my dad " are you ready to go babes"she asked me wiggling her eyebrows "yupp I am" and we give high five to each other.

"Rashmi, keeps her with you otherwise, you don't know who all she'll bite. Anyway, we don't let wild animals out, so be careful." Bhaiya said while smirking. " Don't pay attention to him, no one listens to him here, that's why he is venting out all his anger" I said Rashmi while sitting on a chair and sticking out my tongue to him.
"Come everyone, let's have breakfast, then you both go"mom said while bringing breakfast "is your packing done" "yeah it's done" i replied Rashmi while munching my food. "Okay so I'm going now, take care and don't annoy anyone"bhaiya said finishing his Breakfast and getting up from the chair. "Yeah fine now go"i replied making face.

After this I came downstairs with my luggage "shyam uncle can you please help us to put this in the car" Rashmi asked from her driver "haan Rashmi beta"he replied while taking the luggage outside the house. Mom came towards me hugged me and kissed my forehead "take care"she said while caressing my face "I'm not going to my in-laws house and anyway I'm coming in 3-4 days so bye bye love you mummy" replied while hugging her. "Okay aunty bye jaldi aana aap sab (come soon you all)"Rashmi said while bidding goodbye and we went out towards the car standing in front of the house we sat in. I bid bye to mom and dad and we drove away. Rashmi played music in the car and we're enjoying the ride. It takes us an hour to reach her home as she's living outside the Jaipur area. Rashmi and i became besties from our childhood we are always together. Our families have good relations, everyone loves me and i love everyone.

After an hour we reached her home and wow it was looking so amazing. The lights and flowers are decorated in the house. I have been staring at the house for a long time and I didn't notice Rashmi calling me near the door. I went towards her and entered the house. Everyone present there is waiting for our arrival and in an instant Rashmi's mom kareena aunty hugged me "how are you dear, how long has it been since i saw you"she said while her hands are on my shoulder "I'm fine aunty and how about you" i asked her "fit and fine."she replied. "Rashmi takes Rumi to her room, lets her rest and by the time the dinner is also ready." Rashmi's dadi (grandmother) said to her and she guided me to my room and only then her younger brother appeared in sudden making us flinch "paagal hain aaram se nahi aa skta tha Dara Diya na mujhe aur rumi ko (are you made? Couldn't you have come easily? You scared me and rumi)"she said while smacking his head "ohh rumi baby has come, how are you rumi baby? He asked me to wink his eyes "ahh I'm good reyansh" I said nervously knowing his intentions."ehh yeh rumi baby kya hain (what is this rumi baby) call her didi she's like your elder sister". "No I'll not call her didi she is my rumi baby"he replied to her while staring at me with his hand on his chest. I nervously looked here and there but him no way. "Are you out of your mind ho..." "SShh it's okay don't argue, I'll meet you later reyansh" i said stopping both from argument and walked with Rashmi to my room.

I entered the room it was quite amazing as expected it's not like I never visited her but yeah I've never stayed at her house. "If you need something call me my ro...." "Yeah your room is beside me and I'm not new or strangers here understand" "okay okay take rest bye" and she went from there. I put my luggage aside. I sighed while laying in bed and looked at the clock hanging on the wall to see the time. I got up and took out some comfy kurta and plazzo and went to the bathroom to freshen up. After freshening i walked out of the closet only to spot Rashmi sitting on bed facing towards me.
"Dinner is ready come let's go together" I nod and walked with her downstairs, everyone was there. I was going to sit on an empty chair but Reyansh stopped and told me to sit beside him. I agreed to sit beside him and he was smiling like an idiot. Uff god how would I tolerate this boy till wedding. Servants served us food and i started to dig it in my mouth. Beta do you like dinner"kareena aunty asked me "yeah it's tasty aunty" i replied to her munching the food. "If you need something then tell me okay rumi baby" reyansh said to me and i nod."you don't need to bother about her she has a pretty big mouth to say whatever she needs and why she'll go to tell YOU(she pointed at him) she'll surely tell me" "what are you whispering huuhh" dadi asked looking at us "nothing maa" Rashmi replied "BTW when will shivani aunty and all come?"Rashmi asked looking at her dad. "Hmm they said tomorrow."her mom replied "and what about the yugant" "he said he'll come afterwards as he had some important work to complete but he'll surely come before your haldi, dance and wedding."kareena aunty said while I'm eating food not having any idea about these. "Beta how were your exams"Mahesh uncle(Rashmi's dad) asked me "it's good uncle" "i know you'll surely pass the exams and become a CA and then we need a party" he said smiling "yeah sure uncle" I said showing thumbs up while smiling. We all finished our dinner and got up from our chairs. Rashmi and I went to the terrace for a walk and had some girly talks. After this we both went to our respective rooms to get a sleep. It's almost 11 PM and I don't know when I drifted to my dreamland....

So this is the chapter It's nothing special but the upcoming chapters are going to be interesting. So stay tuned...
