CHAPTER -17

Author's POV:

After 4 days

The wedding functions are started in rumika and yugant home rumika was so happy but yugant it's hard to tell, everyday he is getting more and more sad about his marriage.He feels that he is completely broken, there was no one who can take his side.

At heritage place

Both families decided to do marriage functions together. Today is a haldi function and both sits together on a sofa and everyone came to apply haldi on their cheeks rumika was smiling like her wish is manifested. But the yugant was smiling forcefully his family could notice his face and felt sad cause they knew it was hard for him to accept every transaction in his life.

"Will you do a photoshoot with me please" she asked him knowing he will denied it. "Why not rumi beta he will" her mom said and he nodded. They both made their way to the best view guided by camera man.
"Yes come more close, a little bit more, yes okay sir can you please smile a little" he said and yugant gave him a death stare "it's okay Bhai I'll handle him" atharv assured him knowing his brother anger very well. All cousins staring at the couple while rumika wanted to click more aesthetic pics but knowing his mood she tell camera man to stop cause she tired. "Why bhabhi don't you want to click more pics" avni asked.
"No di I don't want" she said while yugant look at her knowing she was lying and she went away from there.
The day gone best for everyone. Everybody enjoy, talk have a little dance and after tiring went to their sleep.

Next day

Today it was mehendi ceremony and Sangeet. It was afternoon time and their rumika who was taking nap cause heena artist applying mehendi on her hands and legs. She was freaking tired so she decided to take a nap on the sofa taking support of the sofa back."mam what name we have to write" the heena artist asked to rumika and she opened her eyes and tell "Yugant" she said and her cheeks blushed only by writing his name on her hand and she again lay her head back to take a nap.

Only then,Shivani arrived only to saw rumika sleeping and she smiled looking at her. The mehendi is done "rumi beta go and sleep in your room after rest you have to get ready for Sangeet" she said to rumi while waking her up and she nodded she decided to get up "wait let me help you" "no mom no need the legs one are already dried I will go by myself" she said to Shivani and went away.

When she was about to turn right she collided with a person but the person hold her waist only to saw yugant.
"Uff thank god, I won't ruin your clothes, right?" She asked him and he shook his head in no. "Where did you look and walking?" He asked in annoyance. "I was looking down at my mehendi, but you are fine so where are you look and walking?" She asked replying back. His orbs turn dark "I don't want to ruin your happiness" he said and started to go about she stopped him "wait yugant" he turned to her "I'm sorry, BTW are you okay?" She asked and he nodded. "Then why are you ignoring me?" "I don't think so" he replied "no it's just you haven't spoken to me yet after the engagement." "No it's just....." His phone rang and he excuse her and went away. "This phone ruins everyone mood" she said and went to her room for rest.

At night

Everyone was in Sangeet hall and enjoying everyone's dance only then anchor announced for rumika dance she went for her turn. After her dance everyone hooted, clapping for her but her eyes only wanted to see a single smile on yugant's face but he ignored her and her dance. He went away without telling anyone cause he know he have to dance with her so he went away taking his car and his eyes had a tears falling in it. Cause he knows after marriage his and Rumika life will never be together and he never tried to fall in love with her and not not let her. But did he know that she had already fallen in love with him and ready to sacrifice her everything for him. He was driving with a full speed.

At Sangeet hall

Rumika was searching him but he nowhere to found. Only then anchor announced their name
" So now we will invite the people who were behind this rangeen shaam(colourful evening) so let's welcome our bride and groom in stage for the best couple dance. Rumika get up but yugant was nowhere it was almost 15 min the anchor announced someone's else name. It was now half an hour and nobody couldn't know where the hell is Yugant. Rumika eyes turn glossy and gradually the crowd become less cause the guests are going. Everybody had gone now there was only family left. Yugant's dad was burning in anger cause his sudden absence. Anandveer said everyone to go to their rooms he will come back as tomorrow is wedding day.

Rumika was in her room changing doing her skin care routine while thinking deeply she don't know what's the issue with him. She shrugged her thoughts and went to sleep after her manifestation.

"Do you know where he is?" avni asked to atharv "he is with agant Bhai he called me now and said don't worry he was sleeping now cause he was crying much and they will be back before everyone's wake up" and they both nodded their head "but why the Bhai was thinking again about that girl?" Arnav asked "Bhai was searching her desperately" while they both looked at him with shocked "why didn't you tell us earlier, what if she again trying to hurt Bhai and us" avni said in worry "no he haven't found her yet, but if she comes here then the first Target of her will be bhabhi" he explained to them "it means we have to protect our bhabhi form her" Arnav said and the trio handshaked each other and went to sleep.

At 1 AM

Yugant was coming in the hotel with agant only then "where did you go living everything behind?" His dadu asked he turned and only to see tears in yugant's eyes. He came towards yugant while he hugged his dadu tightly. He really need this. "Let's go to your room hmm" he said to Yugant and take him to his room. He made him sit in his bed "now tell my tiger what happened, did you lose already"
He asked his grandson.
"I don't want to this marriage dadu" he said while breaking down. "you know na what you want no one agrees with that" "but why? I don't love rumika"
"You will yug". "no dadu never"
" Then whom do you love?" He asked while yugant looked him.
"Do you still love Diya?" He asked him and he nodded "and do you know where is she" he asked and he shooked his head in no. "Then where will you find her and you know yugant she is not right for you". "no dadu i am searching her she'll be find very soon and she is best for me, if anyone will have problem I'll leave from here for forever but i don't want to marry her" he said and his dadu caressed his shoulders and back "you are ready to leave us for her huhh?" He asked and he said nothing. "But you know your news has spread of marriage and you can't deny the fact that tomorrow is your wedding yug and you have to do it, she is the perfect girl that your dad has done for you, trust me just give her a single chance yug you will start loving her"
"Don't say anything now dadu, cause I will never love her mark my words you are saying the same thing but trust me nor she will be happy neither I, and I am sleepy dadu and you also tired go and sleep" he said and he kissed his forehead and went out from his room.
"I will never love you Miss. Rumika Shah" he said and went to sleep after taking his pills...
