CHAPTER -8

Author's POV:

Next morning

"C'mon rumi get up" Rashmi said while shaking rumika to wake her up. "What's your problem lemme sleep, i slept late last night cause of that monster" "Monster, who is this"  "yugant and who else" she replied to Rashmi in her sleep "w-what, what were you doing with him" she asked rumika and realised what she did she got up "n-no one, you got ready so fast" she said while gazing her from head to toe"yeah, I'm sorry, I have to do some pooja there so I'm leaving now and you also get ready quickly" Rashmi said her "then with whom I come with" "don't worry, I think Ruby will come later so you can come with her" she replied to rumika.

"Fine, bye see you there" rumika said while getting up from the bed "and yes don't think cause you just took yugant's name and i forgot, I want an explanation later." She said which makes rumika nervous "you can go from here" rumi said in annoyance while Rashmi moved out of her room.
Rumika went to the bathroom to get ready. After taking a shower she came out from the closet and stood in front of the mirror staring at her reflection she was wearing a dark green anarkali suit.

Rumika's POV:

After a little makeup i wear golden and green juttis and move downstairs only to spot no one. Then I saw Ruby driving her car, I ran after her but even after seeing me, she left me and went away. How rude. I thought and went inside the mansion sadly. I was going to call Rashmi but I heard the sound of someone coming downstairs only to spot him Monster.

BTW he was looking handsome in light green kurta above white pazzama and a digital watch on his left wrist folding his sleeves due to which his tattoos on left hand were clearly visible and glasses was stuck on his kurta v line neck. I couldn't take my eyes away from him but I came out of my thoughts when he said something and then i realised I was staring at him shamelessly.
"I know I'm looking very handsome but will you please stop staring at me like that" "umm I-I  was not staring at you" fuck why did i stammering.
"So will you take care of the house from behind us" he asked making me confused "why would I" "so why haven't you gone yet, were you waiting for me" he asked looking at me and then at his phone. "And why would I wait for you it's just that I got up late" i replied while looking down and then at him. He stood up suddenly and started moving towards the door.

"Fine, then I'm going there" what does he mean, won't he take me with him, what should I do now? How mean he is, shameless, bastard, batameez kahin ka.
"Did you said something " he turned and asked, can he read minds? "N-no nothing" i replied and he hummed. He went out, i followed him, he took his car and turned it around, he came near me  and stopped the car. "Don't you think when we need someone's help, we should request them" he asked me, I think he is right but can't he see that I too need someone's lift to go so why should I request him.  "And I don't think there's anyone left to go after me" he said said while looking inside the mansion then at me. "Can you take me with you too"  "if you put please and speak more nicely then maybe things can work out smoothly"  he asked boiling me in anger but you have no any other option rumi  "Please yugant can you take me with you too" i requested him while joining my hand in front of him. He nod and i took my steps towards passenger seat but he said " not here sit back"  i closed the door firmly and sit back in his car and he drove off.

He was driving too fast "don't you think you should drive a little slower" I told him, grabbing the front seat "if you are having too much trouble then you can get down from the car" he replied while turning the car rightwards with high speed making me stumble on my seat  "are you crazy or what, whether something happens to me or not, you'll definitely do something dangerous to me with your car" I said raising my voice a little "can you please shut your mouth for a while" he said while pissed off and turn on the music. But I don't know why I don't feel bad when he talks like this I just feel like laughing. If he just talks a little softly, he can become the prince of every girl's dreams. What the fuck am I thinking.

After half an hour we reached our destination I get down from the car. I was about to go then i turned and I thanked him, be nod and went to parked the car, Rude Monster.
I started going inside when someone pulled me aside forcefully and that person was Ruby "kya tumhe pata nahi hai ki jitni lambi chadar ho utne hi pao phelane chahiye (don't you know you need to stay within your limits)" she said making me confused  "what do you mean"
"I mean Miss Rumika Shah that you should stay away from yugant and his family. I knew your intentions very well that how you are trapping shivani aunty with your sweet talks and sticking around yugant only to get his attention back."
"I ignored your misdeeds yesterday but that doesn't mean that you can say anything to me and I'll sit quiet. And about Yugant and his family I don't need your permission to talk to or be with anyone, so now get out of my way". I replied while pushing her aside and went from there.

Ruby's POV:

How dare she talk with me like that but I know what I have to do next.

Yugant's POV:

After parking the car I went inside only when Ruby appeared from nowhere I just don't like this girl. "Yug what happened, are you upset with me"  "it's nothing like that" i replied and was about to go but she held my hand and said "today in Sangeet will you be My dance partner" "you know I hate dance" "everyone knows you danced till college days" "that's a different thing Ruby."
"No, there is nothing like that, you are just giving up all your happiness for that girl" that's enough now I can't tolerate her. "This is no time for your nonsense talks Ruby and just stay away from  my personal matter" i replied and jerked her hand away from mine and went from there.

Rumika's POV:

It's mehendi ceremony, everyone is applying mehendi on their hands and I'm sitting next to Rashmi who has mehendi applied on her hands and feets. Avni was sitting next to me. The heena artist was applying mehendi on my hands too. Suddenly heena artist asks "whose name should I write" and suddenly reyansh appear "my name"  "shut up reyansh" Rashmi said while avni is laughing "don't you think it's too much" avni said making face to him "no it's just begun" while I sighed looking at them suddenly I saw yugant was coming here with his cousins. The fuck he was coming towards us. When they reached us I and yugant had eye contact which results in having butterflies in my stomach. Suddenly Rashmi coughed and I broke eye contact, I saw everyone staring at me with mischievous smile. "I think it's done" I said and get up to went from here only to saw Ruby glaring at me and then I went from there...

I think his handsome looks had some effects on Rumika 🤭🫣
