CHAPTER -31

Rumika's POV:

The sunlight fell on my face and my eyes opened up. I stretch myself carefully but I hissed in pain cause my hand was burning.
I looked beside my bed but it was empty, no one is there. I knew yugant slept beside me and I cuddle him cause I was feeling scared. But he is not here it means he woke up and went for Gym.
I know he goes to the gym but my eyes have never had the peace of mind to see his body.

I get up and did my all morning routine and wear a normal clothes like kurti.
I move out of the closet only to see yugant was standing near a balcony and was speaking on call.
I was combing my hair while he came inside the room.
He made an eye contact with me through the mirror and started to coming closer to me.
I nervously turned to him but he still was staring me.
"How are you feeling now?" He asked me. "Hmm good" I said to him and he grab my left hand carefully but I hissed in pain.
"Is it hurting a lot?" He asked me and I nodded.
"If you want, Atharva will take you to the doctor" he said. What does he mean by atharv, Can't he take me, can't he even do this much.
"No, no need it'll be alright soon" I said and he nodded. He was about to go but I stopped him.
"When will mom and everyone else arrive?" I asked him cause I'm badly missing them. And why wouldn't I, look what happened without them all.
"I can't say anything, they may come tomorrow or the day after." He said and went into the closet.

After sometime,I went downstairs only to spot Meena aunty sitting on the couch sipping her tea while giving death stares to me.
I made my straight to the kitchen but stopped in mid cause of her words "It seems that what happened last night had no effect on you" I turned and made my way towards her.
"And what do you mean?" I asked her and she stand on her feet.
"It is certain that the impact of yugant's slap must have been less, that is why you got the courage to ignore me, isn't it?" She said and I stared at her in anger.

"What is happening here?" I turned to the owner of the voice and it was Yugant who was near atharv. I was staring him at him and atharv signalled me to calm down. "Nothing, I was just teaching her some manners" she said and I again looked at her.

"But don't you think that manners should be taught to those who lack them" he said while coming towards us and I stared at him in confusion.
"I didn't understand beta" Meena aunty said.
"It's just that you are the guest of this house and if you behave well with everyone then maybe people will also start respecting you"
He said to her and I was staring at him.
"Are you insulting my mom? Yugant" Ruby came with the help of a maid and sit on the couch.
"According to you this would be an insult but I was explaining to her that coming to someone's house and making false allegations on the daughter-in-law of that house, that too in front of her husband, don't you think this is a bit shameful? This is a mannerless thing, isn't it?" He said to them and both were feeling Shame in his eyes.

"So you think that I am lying, that's right, I will ask you from the maid,
Hey you come here" Ruby said while calling a maid who broke the vase yesterday.
"Tell them what happened yesterday" she said and the maid nervously looked at me.
"Tell them" Ruby said again.

"S-Sir Rumika mam first broke the vase and pushed Ruby mam, I saw everything when I was cleaning back side of the stairs"
She said and I looked at her shocked. How the hell she can lie?
God what should I do now dadi is right she isn't a good maid, she always betray us.

"Why are you lying? First of all I gave you the work despite dadi's refusal and on top of that you are blaming me. Should I tell everyone your truth? That you.........."

"No no m...."
"See yugant how she is threatening her, you don't need to feared okay I'm here with you and this bitch............."
"If you say even one more word, you can't imagine how bad things can happen to you"
"Why can't you understand yugant she is not good she is a gold digger........" She said while coming slowly towards us.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP RUBY" yugant said in anger.
"Why the hell do you hate her did she do something wrong to you t....."
"Yes she did she snatch you from me, first that diya and now this girl snatch you from me, I have always loved only you, ever since we met I have only dreamt of you since childhood but you never even talked to me nicely. When I came to know that diya is your girlfriend you cannot imagine how broken I was and now when this girl has married you how will I live in peace. Yes I did everything intentionally I burnt her hand because I hate her, I am jealous that she is now with you but see now you too have started taking her side. I troubled Diya so much but still she did not leave you but it was good that she left because she was not good and now in the same way I will keep rumika away from you no matter what I have to do even if I have to ruin.........."
The hardest slap was echoed in the house.

Yugant slapped her.

"I never thought you could stoop so low" he said her and she was sobbing silently.
" Why can't you love me yugant, I'll give you more happiness more love, what am I lacking inside of me? Just tell me I'll fixed it, but please love me, I Lov......."
"Don't say a single word Ruby cause this is not your love this is just obsession and nothing else, I've always seen you as just a friend, nothing more than that, so stop this nonsense........."
"No yugant I truly love you please yugant don't leave me like this......."
"It would be better if you leave from here now, otherwise I will tell everything at home and you know what will happen to you then" he was about to go but she held his hand.

"No no yugant lis........"
"I. SAID. JUST. LEAVE. NOW" he said and went out of the house while she fell on the floor.
Meena aunty went near her and caressed her to calm her down.
"M-mom e-everything is o-over now w-what i D-Do, h-he le-ft me mom....." She said and burst in tears.
"Sshh common let's go he don't deserve you, hmm" she said and the maid bring their luggage after some minutes and they was about to go but Ruby stopped in front of me.
"You have to pay this rumika,You will not be able to imagine how something so bad happened to you, mark my words I will destroy you in every possible way"
She said me and went away.
I know she can do anything, please god save me from this bitch.

Author's POV:

After she left the trio came near her and hugged her together.
"Don't worry she's just a bad bitch" avni said and she laughed.
"Now how is your hand bhabhi" Avyan asked her
"Yeah not so good" she said and she went to serve them breakfast.

After sometime everyone did breakfast and went away.
