CHAPTER -23

Next Morning:

I was getting ready for office. But cause of yesterday's late sleep my eyes were getting heavy but don't worry I'll manage everything.

I came downstairs to see everyone on the dining table I made myself comfortable on the chair. And started to dig my breakfast.

"Rumika didn't you eat your dinner last night?" Chachi asked me and i gulped in nervousness.

"Umm a-act-ually Chachi I wasn't hungry" I said.
"No beta even if you are hungry or not you'll have to eat Little food cause now you are doing job too you need some energy, okay next time no missing" dadi said to me and I nodded.
"Did yugant not come yesterday?" Chachu asked looking at me and I shook my head in no.
"Cause he was late so he stayed at his penthouse" atharv said and everyone nodded.

After the breakfast i did touch up.
And went out where atharv was waiting for me.

He made me sit on the passenger seat and drive off.
I was thinking deeply about yesterday.

"Bhabhi are you alright?" He said me suddenly which made me little flinch.
"Yeah I'm okay" "It seems like you didn't sleep well last night is this cause of bhai?" He asked me

"N-no it's not" I said and looked at outside the window.

"Don't worry he'll come today and will also pick you up, hmm!" He said and I nodded.

After sometime I reached the company only then I met Shiv (head) I did good morning to him and he too smiled at me.
"Am i late or are you early?" I asked him "no you are early" he said and we made our way towards lift.
There is a complete silence in the lift and my floor came i bowed at him and went out. His office is one floor above here.
I went in cabin and started to get myself busy in work.

It was almost lunch time I was going in cafeteria only to heard Maya as she was calling me. I turned to her and she came near me. "Umm shiv sir is calling you at his office" she said and I pointed at myself in confusion and she nodded. I took nodded and made my way towards his office. After reaching near his office i knocked at his door. He ordered me to come inside and I went.
He was sitting on a couch where the lunch is organised.
"You called me sir" I asked him.
"Yeah rumika come have a lunch with me" he said, why have a weird feeling towards him. And why will I do lunch with him, I'm like his employee then.
"No sir I will have my lunch with my co-workers, you can continue"
"No rumika I have specially prepared this lunch for you come and have, I think you'll enjoy lunch with me but here you are disrespect me Rumika, so can you please agree for this lunch?"
He said, now what the hell I do and i nervously smiled at him
"Sorry for disrespect you but I didn't do this intentionally" i said and made my way towards him for our lunch.
I was eating slowly and little cause I'm not feeling to eat anything with him. "Didn't you like the lunch?" "N-no it's just I'm full" I said putting my hand on my stomach.
"But you didn't finished yours"
"No I'm really full thank you for this delicious lunch I'll take my leave the lunch is already over" I said while he nodded and I went out towards my cabin.

It was almost time to leave, I was about to open the door but the door twisted from behind and it was shiv. I smiled at him and we both went towards lift.
Why is he getting too close, I think and we went outside the company.
But I see no one I think atharv will be late today so I decided to wait, it was almost 15 min while waiting for him. Only then Shivani cane towards me.
"Hey are you waiting for someone?" "Y-yeah I was waiting for my brother" I had to say it
"But I think he'll be late today" he nodded at my words.
"Umm if you don't mind come I'll drop to you" he said, no I'll not go with him.
"Thank you but he'll come don't worry" I said and he stared to pull my hand "common don't be shy now rumika its already late now and I don't think he'll come, trust me I'll drop you safely" he said and forcing me to come with him.
I again looked left and right to see if anyone would come or not but no one is there and I decided to sit in his car. He opened a door for me and we drove off.

Author's POV:

After she left did she know that someone was watching all this behind and was burning in anger.

Yugant's POV:

Atharv told me to pick up Rumika and also mom called me to inform this. Yesterday cause of important meeting I got late and decided to go to my penthouse as it was almost near the company.
I went in car and drive off to pick her up. Cause of traffic I was late and also I left a little late too.
But when I reached there I saw rumika with a boy I think he was the boss of the company Shiv.
He was grabbing the hand of her and I can feel she was not that comfortable but the next thing I saw made me burned in anger. She sat in his car while looking here and there as if she was sure that no one could see her sitting in his boss car. How she can sit with a stranger. Can't she wait for a while, first of all I came here leaving my important work for her and she just ignored and sit with a stranger. Wait a while rumika you have to pay this.

I said and went in full speed to reach at home before her.

I reached at home and parked the car.
"Did rumika came" I asked one of our servant but he denied. And I went inside.
I was about to go upstairs but atharv stopped me.
"Bhai didn't bhabhi came with you" he asked and I turned at him.

Only then rumika came inside and everyone staring at her and me.

"Why you both came seperate didn't you go to pick her up?" Mom asked while looking at me.
"I don't think we should drop her off and pick her up anymore since she has her own driver now." I said looking at her and she gulped her saliva in nervous.
Cause she knows now she caught with her stranger friend or I think someone else.

"What do you mean by driver didn't she came with you?" Mom asked me "don't ask me mom asked your dear daughter in law, that his husband is standing behind but she decided to ignore him and went with a stranger whom she didn't know well" I said while looking at her. And her head was down.

"Tell them wifey" I said teasing her and she looked at me in shocked.
Mom goes near her "what happened rumi are you alright, did you not come with yugant?" She asked her and she shook har head in no.
"Then with whom you come?"
"Umm I was waiting for atharv for almost half an hour but he didn't came, then my boss Shiv he force me to sit with him i denied him many times but he said that may be they are busy so I looked last time if anyone was coming or not then I sit with him" she said her.
What she mean that he force her she has her all courage in front of me but in front of stranger she act naive.
"Did you not see me that I was behind his car?" I asked her and she looked at me.
"N-no, it's my fault that I didn't wear my specs if I wore them then I could see you, sorry" she said and again down her head.
"And why you didn't wear your specs" I asked her.
"Cause my eyes were paining so I thought to remove them but if I know that after removing my specs there can be big issue then I'll surely never tried to remove it" she said looking at her mom.
"And I never sit on anyone else car, sorry" she said again.
"It's okay there is neither any issue nor your fault, so go and freshen up after eat your dinner, hmm?" Mom said her and she nodded while going upstairs without giving single glance at me. And everyone went except mom and she came near me.

"Yugant what's that why you accusing her?" Mom said to me.
"So you think it's my fault you know what mom you'll never trust me and always wear blindfolded on your eyes even she commit any mistake" "no it's nothing like that my so...." "Now don't show me sympathy, even if you forgive her but remember my words mom I'll never forgive her you and dad and would never love her remember" I said and walked upstairs at my room.
