CHAPTER -25

At Evening

"Hey bhabhi what you are doing?" Avni said while hugging rumika from behind in kitchen.

"Just preparing for dinner, do you like Pasta?" "Yeah always"
"Okay then give me a half an hour and I'll prepared the dinner"
"But why are you doing?"
"I'm getting bored that's why" she said and avni nodded.

"Yaahh bhabhi I'm hungry so much what did you made?" Avyaan came while caressing his stomach
"Yeah it's almost ready and I made pasta, do everyone came?" She asked him and he nodded.

She served dinner to everyone and
sit on the chair beside avni.
She looked at everyone "what happened don't you like?" She asked to atharv and Avyaan.
"No bhabhi it's awesome" atharv and everyone praised her food except yugant and that Ruby.

Suddenly Ruby coughed and yugant give her a glass of water as he was sitting beside her.
"Are you okay, Ruby?"
Rumika asked her
"No I'm not what you made this don't you know how much spices should you add it's disgusting even yugant don't like, right?"
She said which made everyone looked at yugant.
"It's good Ruby I don't think bhabhi add more spices Bhai don't you like it?" Avni said and his brother nodded.
"I can't eat this rumika" Ruby said which made her stand up and she move towards Ruby and slapped her hard.
"Just eat it quietly or if you don't want then go and eat outside" rumika said which made everyone shocked.

"Are you listening rumika?" She
said to her and she came out of thoughts.
[Thank god she was just thinking BTW I wish she do that 😌😁]

"Yeah what?" Rumika asked.
"I don't want to eat this" Ruby said and Rumika stand up and took her Ruby's plate and went to kitchen.
She came again and sit on the chair and started eat her dinner again.
"Where's my dinner now?" Ruby asked her
"You didn't liked it so I kept it for beggars" rumika said her.
"Then now what will I eat?" She asked her "how would I know I didn't make anything else except Pasta and if you are hungry then I can give you my pasta or I think you have to make dinner for yourself or just go and eat from outside" she said her which makes Ruby angered.

"See yugant now she's crossing her limits, don't you know how to attend your guest" she said to Yugant but rumika ignored her and eating her food silence.

"Can't you listen, ohh so now you are showing your attitude to me"
But she again ignored her. Ruby stood up from the chair to go near her and held her arms to made her stand up, rumika hissed in pain.

"By becoming the daughter-in-law of this house you have not become the queen of this place, behave politely in front of me" she said to her while glaring.
"Ruby what the hell are you doing leave bhabhi" "no she is forgetting her place and now I'll show you your real place...."
"Just leave me" rumika said jerking her hand from her.
"Why are you behaving so weird suddenly huh if you don't like to eat food of my hand then just make yourself, why are you creating a scene" she said to ruby
"What you said I'm creating a scene here huh, you are the one who don't have manners and just always wanted to be a daughter in law of the rich....."
"Just SHUT UP don't forget you are guest here and why you always have a problem with me, you came here to live for a week can't you adjust here for a day do......."

"JUST KEEP QUITE EVERYONE I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN ANYBODY'S VOICE GET IT, AND YOU RUMIKA SHE IS OUR GUEST SO DON'T FORGET, ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP HER HAPPY IN THIS HOUSE GET IT" yugant said which makes rumika flinch.
"But can't you see what she's......."
"No I can't see and just made the food whatever she likes to eat, get it" he said and she just staring at him "DO. YOU. GET. IT?" He asked again to make sure. And she nodded with tears in her eyes.
Threesome was standing and looking everything that how Ruby manipulating yugant but they can't do anything. While Ruby was smiling within herself.
Rumika looked towards Ruby with angry eyes but calm herself.
"W-what do you wanna eat Ruby?"
"Umm I think something light yeah you can make Vegetable soup for me" Ruby said and she nodded while going inside.

After a half an hour rumika came outside with the soup. And kept it in front of her.
"This is your soup Ruby" she said
Ruby looked at the soup and then checked it with the spoon and get up.
"Sorry but I don't have appetite now rumika" she said and went in her room.
Rumika looked in her direction she can't bear this much insult of her cause why she didn't do anything wrong.
Everyone seeing her and pity her but yugant was staring at her and then left for his room.
Maids started to pick up plates and they too are pitying her cause they know the pain and insult when someone order food but just denied it and leave without tasting it. "It's okay I'll do it" rumika said to maids.
"No mam we will do you go and sleep" "bhabhi she was right it's already late go and sleep" avni said but rumika ignored them.
"Let me do it you can go to your home your family was waiting for you all I will do this" she said and took all the plates to kept in kitchen.

She was doing kitchen chores alone while silently sobbing and wiping her cheeks cause of repeating falling of tears. She completed her work and went to her room while wiping the tears.

She entered in her room only to find yugant was working on his laptop and they had a eye contact.

She again wipe her tears seeing him and turned her face to not show that her eyes were swell after a lot of crying.

She went inside the bathroom to get freshen up and she came out only to see yugant slept on the couch.
She didn't say something and lay on her bed.
And soon she drifted to her sleep.

But it's just a beginning for her cause now the challenges were waiting for her day by day.
And if she stands she can make yugant's her but if she does not then she has to leave this family.
