CHAPTER -5

Author's POV:

Next Morning:

Everyone was busy preparing for functions and then a lady came and said "hamare Bina shaadi ki taiyaari kaise ho Rahi Hai (how are the wedding preparations going without us?)" she asked and everyone presented their stand still and the face became pale. "Aisi koi baat nahi hain didi aapke Bina koi functions shuru thodi na ho sakta hain (it's not like that sis, no rituals can start without you)"kareena said while smiling.

Rashmi's POV:

Everyone was busy preparing for rituals until she appeared, my bhua(Meena) I know she was going to come but I don't like her. She always makes trouble in people's lives and her daughter Ruby Singh also likes her. "Namaste Mami(hello aunty), namaste shivani aunty" Ruby greets everyone "where is the yugant, didn't he come" Ruby asks Shivani aunty while looking here and there. She knows him and his family very well as we all are together from our childhood and I just rolled my eyes knowing her intentions very well."he'll come tomorrow" shivani aunty replied which made her nod and again asked while looking at Rumika "who is she, I've never seen her before."

Rumika's POV:

I was standing there looking at the new guests. I knew Meena aunty but I saw her daughter for the first time she's pretty though not like but I came out of my thoughts when she suddenly asks who am "My bestie Rumika Shah"Rashmi introduced me while Ruby was staring at me from head to toe. I was wearing a cream colour Anarkali suit. Girl why are you staring at me like. If she's lesbian no no rumi what the hell you are thinking i slapped my mind. "Oh I see"she replied staring at me with disgusted eyes huh whatever.

After sometime Puja has started and we were all sitting on a mat that was spread on the floor facing Ganesh murti while Rashmi sits on a stool in front. Reyansh was sitting beside me and on the right avni and shivani aunty were sitting we were talking when reyansh started to throw flower petals on me and smiling like a maniac. I removed petals from my face and their sitting Atharv and Ayansh warned him not to annoy me.They all are sweet with me. It doesn't feel like we've met for the first time.

After completing the puja everyone was sitting in the living room and I was in the kitchen helping servants to serve tea then suddenly shivani aunty appeared. She is too sweet but always stares at me whenever I am around her which makes me feel nervous. "Why are you always working, come in the living room everyone was there." "I'm just help....." Before i complete it she drags me with her to the living room and I stand there with Avni. "Shivani ji ab to Rashmi ke baad yugant ki shaadi ki baari hain kaisi ladki chahiye aapko (now after Rashmi it is the turn of yugant's marriage what kind of girl do you want)." Meena aunty asked her"Maine abhi socha nahi (I just haven't thought about it) but I think she is  beautiful, smart, kind in short perfect bahu (daughter in law)for a perfect son"shivani aunty replied while staring at me which made me feel nervous and I went from there.

Author's POV:

After rumika left there standing Ruby who was looking at everything and understanding the situation "acha agar aap nazre utha kar dekho toh aapko shayad yahi kahin mil jaaye(well, If you look carefully, you might find it somewhere here)." Meena said to her while looking at her daughter "hmm lagta toh mujhe bhi aisa hain ( I also think so)." She replied while staring at the direction in which rumika left.

Next Day

Rumika's POV:

It's a haldi ceremony everyone was present in backyard of the mansion. I was inside my room getting ready wearing yellow sharara with jhumka. I move downstairs, I listen to some shouting, cheering coming from backyard. I hurriedly walked down as because of late night talks I wake up late until "beta main tumhe hi dhoondh Rahi thi ( rumi, I was looking for you)" shivani aunty appeared from nowhere and said to me "M-mu-jhe(m-me)" i asked in confusion pointing at myself. "Yeah, come let me introduce you to someone"she replied and drags me with her to backyard where everyone was present. I saw that everybody has surrounded someone there. "Yugant come here"shivani aunty summoned loud due to which he started reaching us. I was not able to see him clearly as i forgot to put the lens in a hurry and who wears a specs in wedding as my eyesight is week.

He was coming towards us and as soon as i saw his face I was shocked. What is he doing here? Don't say he is the son of Shivani aunty whom everyone talks and praises about him so much.
What are you saying about praising this boy, he is not even worth talking to. Kahan fas gayi, kidhar jau main ab (where have i goten stuck, where should I go now?)
